Chapter 3 - Darkness and Light Aganist

Episode 5 – Darkness and Light Against

The night stretched over the sea like a heavy veil.

The wind was silently hovering over the waves, caressing the sands, the screams of seagulls disappearing in the distance.

Centaur had taken the monster into the house, but the darkness inside was still deep.

The monster wasn't comfortable even in that quiet house.

Every shadow, every sound triggered him.

He was closing his eyes, squeezing his chest, holding himself hard not to hurt the centaur... but he couldn't.

With a sudden movement, a shaky but powerful attack: he scratched the centaur's arm.

The pain spread like a hot wave in the centaur.

But he didn't back down. He just took a deep breath, closed his eyes and grabbed the monster's hands.

"I know... you're scared," he said, his voice echoing like a whisper in the silence of the night.

"But you're safe here. You won't get hurt here."

The monster retreated sobbing, both anger and surprise in his eyes.

"Go... leave me," he said in a hoarse voice.

Centaur shook his head.

"I'm not going. I'm here."

At that moment, the monster really felt the patience and light of the centaur for the first time.

The darkness in his heart opened a small void next to the centaur; a slight light was leaking into that void.

The night advanced, the moon was leaving a faint but safe light in the sky.

The Centaur quietly pulled the monster out.

They walked towards the seashore; the moonlight was falling on the water, the waves were hitting the shore, soaking the sand.

Centaur knelt down, wrapped his hands in the monster's hands.

"Look," he said, "tonight, sea and moon flowers... you can be safe here. The light is also in the darkness."

"But... I'm scared," the monster said in a shaky voice.

Centaur shook his head slightly.

"I know. But I'm here. I'm with you every time."

At that moment, the monster noticed a small movement on the horizon.

Among the sands, in the darkness of the night, a closed moon was slowly blooming.

It was pale, delicate and small... but emitting a strong light.

Centaur smiled:

"Here... hope grows even in the dark."

The monster looked at the moon and the flower; his eyes filled with tears.

For the first time, he felt both scared and peaceful.

But there was still darkness in it.

He realized that he had to be brave to recover.

And he could still hurt the centaur because he was afraid.

That night, by the sea, under the light of moon flowers, the centaur and the monster literally felt each other for the first time.

The monster was still fragile, still afraid... but the light inside it was noticed.

Centaur was patient, compassionate, and now they had slowly begun a journey together: from darkness to light, from fear to confidence.
