Chapter 4 - CHAPTER 4

c4: Daily Chatting

After carefully reading through the group's rules and system functions, Broly let out a soft sigh and typed into the chat:

"@Group Admin, did you write all of this yourself?"

The Group Admin replied almost instantly, clearly full of pride: "That's right! I wrote everything myself. I stayed up the whole night organizing it and even lost a dozen hairs in the process. I listed all the functions and rules clearly so everyone can understand them easily. Pretty impressive, right?"

Looking at the message, Broly could almost picture a girl in another world standing with her hands on her hips, eyes shining, eagerly waiting to be praised.

He rubbed his forehead, feeling slightly speechless. After a long pause, he simply replied with one word: "Yeah."

At first glance, the rules she created did seem reasonable. If everyone truly followed them, the group could indeed maintain a peaceful and cooperative atmosphere.

In such an environment, members could support each other, exchange resources, and grow stronger together—something extremely valuable, especially in dangerous worlds like his own.

However, as Broly thought deeper, he quickly noticed a critical flaw.

All of these rules were built on one fragile assumption: that every member would act in good faith.

If someone with malicious intent, especially someone powerful and skilled at deception were to join the group and conceal their identity, the consequences could be disastrous.

In a multiverse-connected system like this, information itself was a weapon.

A schemer could easily exploit knowledge of other worlds, manipulate events, or even lure weaker members into traps. By the time others realized what was happening, it might already be too late.

These seemingly friendly and straightforward members might end up being used without even realizing it.

And the Group Admin…

From Broly's perspective, she clearly lacked that level of caution.

Normally, someone in her position holding authority over a system like this would establish a powerful, even intimidating image. They might enforce rules strictly, use their knowledge of future events to gain advantages, or even profit from selling information.

But she had done none of that.

Instead, she openly shared information, helped others selflessly, and even spent her own resources for a newcomer like him.

This allowed Broly to form a general impression of her personality.

She was kind… but also somewhat naïve.

If placed in a harsher environment like the Saiyan era under Frieza's rule such a personality could easily be exploited.

After finishing his analysis, Broly stopped thinking about it further.

Regardless of potential risks, the current atmosphere of the group was undeniably positive. For now, observing and adapting was the best approach.

Meanwhile, the group chat had already become lively again.

Emperor Engine: "That was terrifying! I just went to the supermarket to buy some groceries, and I suddenly ran into a monster on the street, it looked like a giant frog. It was using its tongue to restrain a woman as a hostage. My heart almost stopped from the shock.

Oh, I even took a picture. That thing is seriously ugly."

The image showed a bizarre creature with blue skin and a frog-like head, dressed in human clothing. Its long tongue had wrapped tightly around an innocent woman, lifting her off the ground. Its expression was arrogant and twisted, while the surrounding crowd fled in panic.

Tatsumi: "That's awful! Your world is really dangerous… What happened to that girl? Are you okay? If you need help, I can try to come over."

Emperor Engine: "Thanks for the concern, but it's fine now. I… scared it away."

Leftover Child: "Wait, what? You scared it away? How did that even happen?"

Dumpling-Making Master: "Maybe you have some hidden power you don't know about yet. Like some kind of dormant ability that activates under pressure.

Kind of like how I sometimes have strange dreams… there's always this mysterious fox inside a cage, offering me power. It feels suspicious, like it's not something normal."

Straw Hat Pirates Captain: "That monster… can it be eaten?! If Sanji cooks it, it might actually taste good!"

Inside the Saiyan space pod, Broly watched the conversation silently as the launch sequence continued to prepare.

Compared to the brutal, survival-driven world he came from, this kind of casual, almost absurd daily conversation felt strangely… relaxing.

Emperor Engine: "I don't even know what happened. I was so terrified that my heart started pounding loudly, the so-called 'King Engine.' Everyone around could hear it clearly… and then that frog monster suddenly knelt down and begged for mercy, saying it would repent."

Emperor Engine: "And also… I'm really just an ordinary person without any real combat ability."

Dumpling-Making Master: "Just your heartbeat alone can scare away monsters… Uncle, you're definitely not simple."

Group Admin: "Emperor Engine is indeed an ordinary human with no combat power, so there's no need for everyone to speculate anymore. But in a way, you could say he's a very powerful 'summoner' someone who can call over that bald hero."

Emperor Engine: "???"

Emperor Engine: "@Group Admin, you mean Saitama, right?"

Group Admin: "Sigh, it's a pity he isn't part of the group, so he can't join missions through the dimensional portal. Otherwise, with him around, things would be much easier."

Emperor Engine: "That's true… If Saitama had been there last time, we wouldn't have failed the mission, and we definitely wouldn't have been chased all over the place by those giant monsters in that Pacific Rim world."

Tatsumi: "@Emperor Engine, is that Saitama really that powerful?"

In the world of Akame ga Kill!, Tatsumi was sitting inside his modest home, packing his belongings in preparation for his upcoming journey to the capital. At the same time, he kept glancing at the chat interface.

He couldn't help but recall the previous group mission.

That mission had taken place in a world resembling the setting of Pacific Rim—a battlefield dominated by colossal sea monsters emerging from the ocean depths and massive humanoid mechs built to fight them.

Those titanic creatures, comparable in scale to city-destroying threats, were far beyond the level of ordinary fighters like him. Even approaching them felt like facing certain death.

What left him speechless the most, however, was Luffy's reaction at the time.

When the Straw Hat captain saw the gigantic mechanical constructs, his eyes lit up instantly. He became obsessed with them, shouting about "manly robots" and "cool machines," completely ignoring the danger around them and refusing to retreat.

In the end, it was only thanks to the Digimon partner of the "leftover child" Agumon evolving into MetalGreymon that the situation turned around. The sudden appearance of a flying, missile-launching Digimon drew Luffy's attention away and created an opportunity for the others to escape.

Even so, the mission ultimately failed.

Emperor Engine: "I watched that entire mission too. If Saitama had been there, he probably could've taken down that giant monster with ease."

Dumpling-Making Master: "Really? If that's the case… wouldn't that make him basically invincible?"

Group Admin: "Well… in his own world, you could pretty much say that. He's known as a hero who defeats any opponent with a single punch. No matter how strong the enemy is, they can't withstand one hit from him."

Group Admin: "@Emperor Engine, actually, I have an idea for how you could become stronger. You could try finding the Child Emperor or the scientist who modified Genos, and have them create a special controller device. Then you could control Genos remotely in battle. With that setup, aside from Saitama, Genos could probably overwhelm most enemies."

Emperor Engine: "This… sounds way too unrealistic. And Genos would never agree to something like that anyway, so let's just forget it."

Inside the Saiyan space pod, Broly watched the chat quietly, unable to stop himself from feeling amused.

This kind of suggestion clearly came from someone who had read too many online discussions or theory posts. While it sounded clever on the surface, it didn't hold up under real combat conditions.

Even though King referred to here as Emperor Engine was exceptionally skilled at video games, capable of dominating virtual opponents with minimal effort, real battles were completely different.

It was like expecting a top-tier competitive gamer to suddenly perform flawlessly in an actual battlefield scenario. Without real combat experience, even holding a weapon steadily could become a challenge.

Real fights were unpredictable, filled with constantly changing variables. Unlike games, where systems were balanced for fairness, real enemies didn't follow rules or display visible data like health bars.

Broly's thoughts naturally connected back to his own world.

In the Dragon Ball universe, battles were decided by factors such as ki control, raw power, reaction speed, and combat instincts. There were no second chances, one miscalculation could mean death. Even someone like Vegeta, a battle-hardened Saiyan elite, had nearly been killed on Earth due to underestimating his opponents.

Applying that logic, controlling Genos through a device would be extremely unreliable.

Genos's greatest weakness wasn't just his enemies, it was his own limits. Many of the monsters he faced were far stronger than him, with durability and speed beyond what his mechanical body could handle. Some opponents couldn't even be damaged by his attacks.

Even if someone could share his visual perspective through a controller or VR-like system, it wouldn't solve the problem. There would still be no way to accurately judge enemy strength or predict hidden abilities.

Worse still, Genos's body itself had limitations. Overloading his systems or sustaining too much damage could cause him to break apart mid-battle.

That outcome wouldn't be surprising at all.

After all, frequent destruction and repairs were practically a routine part of Genos's combat history.
