Chapter 10 - CHAPTER 10

c10 - No Way!

Broly carried Su Xiaoyou back but did not enter through the hotel's main entrance.

At this moment, his entire body was stained with blood, bits of flesh and viscera clinging to him, while Su Xiaoyou was covered in wounds and looked even worse.

If they walked in through the lobby like this, it would definitely alarm the staff, and the police would likely be called immediately.

To avoid unnecessary trouble, Broly simply bent his knees slightly and leapt upward.

With a light step, he rose along the outer wall and directly reached the height of the twelfth floor, grabbing onto the edge of a window and slipping inside with ease, his physical ability far exceeding that of ordinary humans, even without deliberately using his ki.

After entering the room, he gently placed Su Xiaoyou onto the bed.

Then he went into the bathroom, washed the blood off his hands and face, and brought out the medical supplies she had prepared earlier.

Carefully, he began tending to her injuries.

When the iodine touched her wounds, the intense stinging sensation caused Su Xiaoyou to tremble slightly, and she involuntarily let out soft, suppressed moans.

These sounds made Broly pause for a brief moment.

They felt strangely familiar, stirring certain memories from his previous life.

He glanced at her subconsciously, but quickly suppressed the distracting thoughts.

He had experienced enough in his previous life, he wasn't some inexperienced teenager who would lose control over such things.

Of course… as for certain names like Yongmei, Miyako Shion, Laura, Ohashi, Ishihara…

He definitely didn't know them.

After finishing the treatment, Broly carefully bandaged her wounds and changed her into a clean set of clothes from the spare ones Su Xiaoyou had prepared earlier.

Only then did he relax slightly.

He went back into the bathroom, took a thorough hot shower, washing away all the blood and grime from battle.

Afterward, he dried his long black hair with a hairdryer, then even carefully dried the thick Saiyan tail behind him, something unique to Saiyans like himself, as established since their introduction in Dragon Ball.

Putting on the clothes Su Xiaoyou had bought for him, Broly walked into the living room and sat down on the sofa, waiting for Naruto to return.

At the same time, he began focusing inward.

Trying to control the power within his body.

In the world of Dragon Ball, every living being possesses an energy known as ki.

By sensing and controlling this energy, one can achieve feats such as flight and releasing energy attacks.

Techniques like the Kamehameha are classic examples of manipulating ki into destructive waves.

Even as a child, Son Goku was able to imitate and release a basic ki blast after witnessing it once demonstrating that the fundamentals of ki control are not inherently complex.

Compared to Goku, who was originally classified as a low-class Saiyan warrior, Broly's innate potential and combat instincts especially as a Legendary Super Saiyan were far superior.

Logically speaking, mastering ki should be even easier for him.

However, reality proved otherwise.

The ki within Broly's body was not only vast, it was violent, turbulent, and difficult to restrain.

Ever since arriving in this world, he had been attempting to control it.

If left unchecked, even a slight loss of control could result in catastrophic destruction.

With his current power, accidentally releasing too much energy could easily devastate an entire city or even threaten the stability of a planet.

And unlike controlled techniques, such wasteful outbursts would drain his stamina rapidly without any real benefit.

It was similar in principle to overexerting all energy at once like a mage exhausting all their mana in a single spell.

After several days of continuous practice, Broly had finally managed to gain partial control over a small portion of his power.

Sitting quietly, he raised his right hand.

Focusing his mind, he carefully gathered a tiny fraction of his ki into his palm.

At first, the energy was unstable, flickering violently like a flame in the wind.

But gradually, under his control, it began to stabilize.

A sphere of green energy slowly formed above his palm.

It emitted a faint glow at first, then rapidly expanded.

In just a few seconds, the small energy point grew into a massive sphere nearly five meters in diameter, radiating intense green light and immense destructive force.

The air around it distorted slightly from the sheer concentration of energy.

Broly stared at the energy sphere in his hand, his expression calm.

This…

Was only a tiny fraction of his power.

Broly felt the immense and violent power contained within that sphere of ki.

He let out a soft sigh, then clenched his fingers slightly.

In an instant, the massive green energy sphere collapsed inward and vanished completely, leaving no trace behind.

"Still not enough…"

"This was only about one-thousandth of my power, and even then, a single blast like that could easily wipe out a small country."

He shook his head helplessly.

"Sigh… being too powerful is actually a problem."

As a Saiyan and more specifically, the Legendary Super Saiyan described in Dragon Ball Super: Broly—Broly could clearly feel that the energy within his body was constantly growing.

Even without deliberate training, his combat power was steadily increasing, far more exaggerated than normal Saiyan growth through battle.

In the original records of Saiyan physiology seen throughout Dragon Ball, Saiyans grow stronger after recovering from near-death experiences, but Broly's case was different.

His power surged continuously, almost uncontrollably, as if his body itself was a bottomless well of energy.

If he failed to guide and restrain it properly, he could very well end up like the earlier, uncontrollable version of himself losing all reason, overwhelmed by rage, and becoming a destructive berserker driven purely by instinct.

That was something he absolutely wanted to avoid.

Broly calmed his breathing and continued training.

This time, instead of brute suppression, he attempted finer control trying to manipulate even one ten-thousandth of his total energy.

At the same time, he focused on calming the violent currents of ki inside his body, gradually taming them instead of resisting them head-on.

Just then, a figure jumped in through the window.

Naruto had returned.

His stomach was round and bulging, clearly showing that he had gone out to eat most likely ramen again, judging by the faint smell.

Seeing him back, Broly slowly lowered his hand and stopped his training.

"Brother Naruto, if you're tired, go get some rest," Broly said calmly. "We're leaving this place early tomorrow morning."

"Huh? Why so sudden?" Naruto asked, confused, scratching his head after finishing his late-night meal.

Broly glanced at him and explained patiently:

"We made too much noise tonight. And we killed too many parasites."

"You sent out around fifty locations."

"I personally dealt with forty of them, plus Xiaoyou's share…"

"That means nearly fifty deaths in a single area."

He paused slightly before continuing:

"Think about it this way, if fifty people were killed overnight in your village, what would happen?"

Naruto froze for a moment.

Then his expression gradually turned serious.

In Konohagakure, something like that would trigger a full-scale emergency response.

The ANBU and village guards would be mobilized immediately, launching a thorough investigation.

Suspicious individuals would be tracked, interrogated, and entire districts could be searched house by house.

"I get it…" Naruto nodded heavily.

Realizing the gravity of the situation, he didn't argue further and went back to his room to rest, conserving his strength for whatever came next.

In truth, from Broly's perspective, even if the authorities deployed modern military forces fighter jets, tanks, artillery, it wouldn't pose any real threat to him.

With just a fraction of his power, he could unleash a ki blast capable of annihilating everything in sight.

However, he had no intention of doing that.

His enemies were the parasites, not ordinary humans.

And indiscriminately killing large numbers of people even if they attacked first was something he wasn't entirely comfortable with yet.

After all, he had only recently arrived in this world.

Eliminating parasites felt no different from hunting beasts, it didn't weigh on his conscience.

But killing normal humans was different.

Still…

If it truly came down to it, he wouldn't hesitate.

He wouldn't stand still and allow himself to be attacked without fighting back.

The next morning, after Su Xiaoyou recovered enough to move, the three of them left the city without drawing attention.

They headed toward another urban area to continue their mission.

Strictly speaking, it wasn't "committing crimes", It was the systematic elimination of parasites.

This time, their destination was a district known as Shibuya in Tokyo.

Shibuya was one of the most bustling districts in the city, alongside places like Harajuku.

It was a hotspot for young people, filled with shopping centers, restaurants, entertainment venues, and lively streets.

From students to office workers, the entire district was always crowded and vibrant.

For parasites trying to blend into human society, this kind of place was ideal.

Which also meant…

It was the perfect hunting ground.

However, before getting to work, something unexpected happened.

Broly and Naruto were forcefully dragged into a shopping spree by Su Xiaoyou.

Under her insistence, the two of them ended up trying on various modern outfits and were outfitted in complete sets of trendy clothing.

Compared to their previous appearances, they now looked far more like ordinary people in this world.

As for money that wasn't an issue at all.

Through the chat group's system, points could be exchanged for local currency at an extremely favorable rate.

Even a single point could be converted into a large amount of cash.

Because of this, Broly and his group had absolutely no financial concerns while operating in this world.
