Chapter 14 - CHAPTER 14

c14: Speculation and Guesses

Broly, along with Naruto and Su Xiaoyou, flew from Shibuya to Chitashiro Ward in Tokyo.

Unlike before, this time Broly didn't rely purely on instinct. After several attempts at controlling the violent ki within his body similar to how Son Goku first learned to regulate his energy under Master Roshi—he had already stabilized a portion of his power, allowing him to maintain high-speed flight while sustaining an Energy Barrier around all three of them.

The three landed steadily on the rooftop of a department store and sat down to discuss their next move.

Broly directly stated his plan, which he had already devised before arriving.

"The official Parasite Control Bureau of Japan has noticed us and has begun relocating the Parasites. Furthermore, to eliminate us, they've deployed armed organizations from this world—similar to how the Red Ribbon Army once mobilized large-scale military forces to hunt down powerful individuals.

You could even say they've sent an army.

While we can still distinguish the Parasites by pulling out their hair, it's not very efficient anymore.

The longer this drags on, the worse it will be for us, and the more casualties we'll suffer.

Because in our upcoming battles, the Parasites will find that conventional weapons are ineffective against us—just like ordinary firearms and tanks were useless against high-level fighters such as Vegeta during the Saiyan Saga.

And to save their lives, they're very likely to use weapons of mass destruction."

Broly paused slightly, clenching his fist. A faint green aura flickered unconsciously around him, the early sign of his Legendary Super Saiyan power struggling to leak out, just like in the records of Broly in previous timelines.

"Of course, this won't hurt me," he continued calmly, "but for the ordinary people of this world, it will be a terrifying disaster.

I know you don't want to see this happen, those innocent people affected because of us.

So I want to resolve this mission as quickly as possible.

Before the Parasites can react, I'll act directly using a ki blast to wipe out this world's administrative offices, military command, academy of sciences, defense departments..."

As he spoke, Broly subconsciously recalled how even a suppressed energy blast far weaker than techniques like the Kamehameha could already level vast areas.

With his current control, even one ten-thousandth of his power would be enough to erase entire districts.

After hearing Broly's plan, Naruto's expression darkened.

Even without fully understanding ki like the warriors of Planet Vegeta, he could feel the terrifying destructive intent behind Broly's words.

"Wait a minute," Naruto said, frowning. "Everything you're saying is just speculation. There's no real evidence to prove that things will really escalate to this point.

Besides, those parasites might not have actually discovered the three of us, since we've been very careful and well-hidden.

Maybe it's all just a coincidence.

Perhaps the parasite population in that area is actually quite small.

Right?"

Naruto turned to Su Xiaoyou, clearly hoping she would support him.

Even after experiencing multiple worlds, Naruto still held firmly to his beliefs just like how he would never abandon his ideals, even when facing overwhelming enemies.

Su Xiaoyou remained silent for a moment.

She had witnessed Broly's power firsthand, the kind of overwhelming dominance that reminded her of the destructive scale described in the Dragon Ball manga, where a single warrior could decide the fate of an entire planet.

Finally, she spoke carefully:

"There aren't that many coincidences in this world.

Naruto, you might not know, but in a world like this, there's usually something called a satellite.

If we use satellite positioning, they can track our movements just like how advanced civilizations in Dragon Ball could monitor power levels using scouters."

She glanced at Broly before continuing.

"I suspect we're already exposed to the Parasite Officials.

However, Broly, your approach is a bit extreme.

You're planning based entirely on the worst-case scenario.

Without concrete evidence, recklessly acting at that level is dangerous."

She tightened her grip on her staff slightly.

"If you destroy the administrative organs, military command, defense agencies, academies of sciences, law enforcement... of this world, then this world will descend into chaos.

In the future, there will be no laws, no constraints.

Even if we eliminate the parasites, humanity itself might collapse afterward."

She paused, then added firmly:

"That kind of outcome… isn't victory."

Human desires would be fully unleashed, the pyramidal social structure would collapse, and countless people would die in the ensuing turmoil.

Broly shrugged slightly, indicating that this was the only relatively optimal solution he could think of—at the very least, it was better than allowing the situation to escalate into missile bombardments or even a nuclear strike.

However, he also admitted to himself that he had indeed been projecting the worst-case scenario onto everything, just like how Saiyan warriors were instinctively trained to anticipate extreme battle conditions—similar to how Bardock would constantly prepare for planetary annihilation-level threats during his missions.

He had no concrete evidence to prove any of it.

Perhaps due to certain experiences in his previous life, Broly had developed the habit of always considering the worst possible outcome and preparing a corresponding plan to ensure survival.

But at this moment, Broly gradually realized something

He didn't actually need to do this.

Right, the lives of the people in this world had nothing to do with him, so why should he bear that burden?

He simply didn't want to kill innocent people, but whether they lived or died because of external factors was not something he needed to concern himself with; the two ideas were not contradictory.

Even if the parasites truly mobilized missiles, tanks, or even something equivalent to large-scale destructive weapons, it would be no different from ordinary human weapons failing against high-tier fighters like Frieza in his final form.

As for nuclear-level destruction

Broly instinctively compared it to the kind of explosive output seen when elite warriors clashed using techniques like the Gigantic Meteor. Even then, he wasn't certain such weapons could truly threaten him, especially with his Energy Barrier already formed.

So what was there to fear?

He had only proposed that extreme plan to take Naruto and Su Xiaoyou into account.

Since they disagreed, then so be it.

And perhaps… he really was overthinking things.

"Alright, let's stick to the original plan then," Broly said with a light smile. "Even though it'll be slower.

Time is limited. Based on their reaction speed, I estimate the parasites in this area will receive the news and evacuate within two hours.

But completing the target of 200 parasites within a week shouldn't be a problem."

There was a faint trace of coldness hidden beneath his otherwise innocent expression.

Broly himself didn't notice it.

As time passed, the Legendary Super Saiyan bloodline within him continued to subtly influence his personality just like how the berserk transformation of Broly in other timelines led to uncontrollable destruction.

He was slowly becoming more ruthless, more battle-driven… gradually approaching the true nature of a Saiyan.

Su Xiaoyou nodded.

"Then we'll go with the original method. But that means more work for Naruto."

"No problem, leave it to me," Naruto replied confidently. "I have a lot of chakra. This time, I can create over a thousand clones."

However, recalling the previous night's large-scale disturbance, Naruto deliberately controlled his output, forming hand seals and dividing his chakra into smaller portions.

Instead of recklessly flooding the area, he created ten Shadow Clones first.

The ten clones immediately dispersed from the rooftop, then each began producing additional clones elsewhere, minimizing attention while maintaining efficiency.

Meanwhile, Broly and Su Xiaoyou didn't remain idle. They closely monitored the group chat, waiting for Naruto's updates.

This time, after relocating, results came quickly.

Four or five parasite locations were identified almost immediately.

Unlike before, Broly did not split up from Su Xiaoyou.

They were already exposed.

At any moment, a bullet could be fired from an unseen corner—just like how even powerful fighters in Dragon Ball could be caught off guard if they lowered their guard, as seen when Goku was injured by a laser during the Resurrection F incident.

Su Xiaoyou understood this clearly and didn't act recklessly.

She wasn't foolish at critical moments, survival came first.

But this also meant she had fewer chances to fight.

At each marked location, Broly acted instantly.

The moment he detected a parasite, he would accelerate at extreme speed, his body turning into a blur, and deliver a single punch.

The result was always the same

Instant annihilation.

The parasites didn't even have time to react.

From the perspective of ordinary pedestrians, it was as if someone simply exploded out of nowhere; they couldn't even perceive Broly's movement.

After clearing the targets Naruto had identified, Broly began moving toward densely populated areas based on the information he had reviewed the previous night.

However, instead of directly attacking, he adopted a more subtle approach

He started pulling out strands of hair.

This led to bizarre scenes across the streets.

People would suddenly feel a sharp pain on their scalp, instinctively turning around, only to find no one behind them.

They could only curse under their breath, completely confused.

It was even worse for certain unfortunate office workers.

In particular, programmers already struggling with receding hairlines—treated their remaining strands like priceless treasures.

Yet Broly and Naruto casually plucked several hairs from them without hesitation.

To them, it was nothing short of a catastrophe.

Absolutely outrageous.
