Chapter 18 - CHAPTER 18

c18: Begins My Rampage!

Eager to return and feast on the giant squid, Naruto no longer held anything back. With Kurama's chakra supplementing his already massive reserves, his Shadow Clone Technique spread across the entire region like a living net. Each clone acted independently, relaying information the moment it dispelled just as he had done during the Fourth Great Ninja War. Paired with Broly, who now possessed a far more stable grasp of his ki compared to his berserk state on Planet Vampa, the two formed a terrifying hunting duo.

Broly, relying on his Saiyan battle instincts and energy sensing an ability similar to how Goku tracks ki signatures across vast distances moved through the area like a storm. Every time he locked onto a target, his body would flash forward, his speed rivaling the explosive bursts he once used against Super Saiyan Blue Goku. Each strike was clean, direct, and overwhelmingly powerful, leaving no chance for the parasites to resist.

The two of them swept through the area with shocking efficiency.

Soon after clearing one zone, they immediately moved to the next, their pace never slowing. To them, this was no longer a mission, it was closer to a high-speed hunt.

Before long, both of them received a notification from the group system:

[Congratulations on completing the Parasite World mission!]

[Rewards: 200 points each + personal performance reward]

[Return?]

Broly glanced at his interface.

500 points.

He immediately understood the breakdown.200 base reward, with the remaining 300 clearly coming from his individual contribution. After all, the majority of the parasites had been eliminated by him directly, often in a single overwhelming blow. Compared to his past battles where his power spiraled out of control, this level of precision actually gave him a faint sense of satisfaction.

Naruto checked his own reward.

350 points.

Two hundred from the base reward, and 150 from performance. His large-scale deployment of shadow clones had played a decisive role, allowing them to locate targets at incredible speed. Without that, even Broly's sensing ability would have taken longer to cover such a wide area.

On the other side, Su Xiaoyou also received her share of points.

Because she held the position of group administrator, she gained an additional 100 points bonus, bringing her total to 380.

She immediately jumped up in excitement, unable to hide her joy.

With these points, she could access more items in the system store resources that didn't exist in her original world. By transporting goods between worlds and reselling them, she had already found a stable method of earning wealth. It was similar to how Capsule Corporation in the Dragon Ball world revolutionized storage and transportation.rare technology could easily reshape entire markets.

She had relied on this exact method before to gradually improve her family's financial situation, turning what was once an ordinary life into something far more secure.

Everyone who received points was in high spirits.

Without hesitation, Broly and Naruto immediately rushed back toward Su Xiaoyou's location.

By the time they arrived, the giant squid was nearly finished.

Broly, having learned to control his ki more precisely, had already mastered a basic energy barrier similar to the protective aura often seen around fighters like Vegeta. His entire body was enveloped in a thin layer of energy, preventing blood or dirt from touching him. As a result, despite the intense battle, he remained completely clean and didn't need to wash up at all.

The two of them sat down casually.

Nearby, the cooks hurriedly sliced the grilled squid into large portions and placed them in front of the trio. The aroma filled the air, rich and irresistible.

Without waiting any longer, the three of them began eating.

For Su Xiaoyou, this was something unimaginable in her past life.a delicacy that money alone could never buy. A creature of this scale, hunted by someone with overwhelming power like Broly, simply didn't exist in any normal setting.

At first, she had been worried that such a massive squid would go to waste.

But that concern vanished instantly.

She watched, completely stunned, as Broly grabbed an entire tentacle nearly seventeen meters long and casually stuffed it into his mouth.

Her mind went blank.

Was his stomach even normal?

Was it a bottomless pit… or some kind of separate dimension?

But thinking about it carefully, it made sense.

The more energy Broly stored within his body, the more fuel he required. Saiyans were known for their enormous appetites, especially after intense battles or near-death experiences that boosted their power.

Just recalling Son Goku's childhood during the World Martial Arts Tournament, where he devoured an amount of food that nearly exhausted Master Roshi's entire prize money, was enough to prove how terrifying a Saiyan's appetite could be.

Compared to that, Broly whose power far exceeded Goku's early levels naturally required even more sustenance.

By the time they finished consuming the entire giant squid, not even scraps remained.

Only then did the long-delayed "guests" finally arrive.

Outside the small villa, the Parasite Official Special Forces had finally reached their destination.

This time, they truly saw their targets.

For a moment, some of them nearly burst into tears after being sent back and forth between multiple locations, they had finally not come in vain.

The sky above the villa roared with noise.

Seven or eight armed helicopters hovered in formation, completely surrounding the area. The downdraft from their rotors kicked up dust and debris, creating an oppressive atmosphere.

One by one, special forces soldiers rappelled down from the helicopters, fully armed with assault rifles, quickly establishing a perimeter.

"Don't move! Lie down, hands behind your heads!"

"Don't move! Lie down, hands behind your heads!"

"Don't move! Lie down, hands behind your heads!"

The commands echoed repeatedly, sharp and urgent.

The cooks who had just finished grilling the squid were instantly terrified.

Their legs nearly gave out.

What kind of efficiency was this?!

They had only just finished cooking… and now the authorities were already here to arrest them?

For a moment, several of them felt like crying.

This job… was definitely not worth it.

The grillers didn't dare hesitate. One by one, they immediately dropped to the ground, placing their hands behind their heads just as instructed, lying face down in complete submission.

They were nothing more than ordinary people. Faced with armed special forces, resistance wasn't even a thought.

Broly, however, showed a completely different reaction.

The moment he saw the group arrive in full force, his eyes lit up slightly. This was exactly what he had been waiting for. By repeatedly exposing his location and unleashing his ki without restraint something that, in the Dragon Ball world, would be as conspicuous as a beacon to anyone capable of detection, he had successfully drawn them in.

In truth, if Broly had wanted to avoid them, it would have been effortless.

With his current control over power, even without transforming into the Wrathful state he once used against Son Goku and Vegeta, his base speed alone was enough to leave behind aircraft like these helicopters. Taking Su Xiaoyou along and completing the mission quietly before returning would have been the simplest path.

But Broly had no intention of doing that.

He wanted to stay.

The system's rules were clear within the designated period, continuing to hunt parasites would yield additional points. To Broly, this was no different from continuous combat training, something Saiyans instinctively pursued. Just like how battles pushed Saiyans to grow stronger, this was an opportunity he had no reason to waste.

More importantly, he hadn't forgotten the massive debt he owed within the group.

A Saiyan might love battle, but Broly had already begun forming his own principles. Owing something and not repaying it wasn't something he could accept.

Still, there was one obstacle.

Naruto and Su Xiaoyou.

Both of them were far too kind. If they realized his intention to stay behind and continue fighting alone, they would definitely insist on staying with him. That would only complicate things.

So Broly made a decision.

He would force them to leave.

Suppressing his true thoughts, Broly deliberately put on a tense expression and said,

"I didn't expect this many people to show up this time. You two should go first leave this to me."

"Wait…" Su Xiaoyou hesitated, glancing at the cooks lying helplessly on the ground, clearly worried.

Broly already understood her concern.

He gave a confident smile, the kind of calm assurance reminiscent of warriors who had faced overwhelming odds countless times—like how Goku would smile before a battle against a powerful enemy.

"Don't worry," Broly said steadily. "I'll protect them."

"If you stay, it'll only limit what I can do."

He paused slightly, then added,

"And those weapons… they can hurt you. I'm not sure I can protect everyone at once."

This wasn't entirely false. While bullets were meaningless against his body just as ordinary firearms couldn't even scratch Raditz during the Saiyan Saga they could still threaten Naruto and Su Xiaoyou if they were careless.

Su Xiaoyou bit her lip, then finally nodded.

"…Alright. I'll leave this to you, Broly."

Naruto, after a brief pause, also chose to trust him.

The two of them activated the return option almost simultaneously. Their figures flickered and vanished from the spot, leaving Broly standing alone in the center of the encirclement.

More than thirty special forces soldiers surrounded him, rifles raised and aimed directly at his body. Above, several helicopters hovered, their mounted machine guns locking onto him from the sky.

The atmosphere turned tense in an instant.

The captain of the squad stepped forward, his expression cold and hostile.

"Kid," he barked, "where did those two go? How did they disappear? Talk!"

Without waiting for an answer, he suddenly swung the butt of his rifle down toward Broly's head with full force.

The strike was vicious.

If it had landed on an ordinary child, it would have been enough to cause fatal injury.

But Broly didn't move.

He simply raised one hand.

Clack.

The rifle butt stopped instantly, caught effortlessly in his palm.

The captain's pupils shrank.

Before he could react, Broly calmly lifted his other hand.

At his fingertip, a small point of light gathered pure, condensed ki, similar in nature to the basic energy blasts used by warriors throughout the Dragon Ball universe.

In the next instant

A beam of white light shot forward.

Bang!

It pierced straight through the captain's forehead, erasing his head completely in a single, precise strike.

At the same time, the system's voice echoed in Broly's mind:

[Congratulations on killing a parasite. Gained 10 points.]

Broly's expression didn't change, but something flickered in his eyes.

So these soldiers… were parasites as well.

That realization erased the last trace of restraint he had.

He slowly raised a finger again. This time, instead of a beam, a small sphere of light condensed at the tip denser, more unstable, similar to a compressed ki blast like those used in close-range destruction techniques.

With a casual flick

The sphere shot forward and detonated.

Boom!!

The ground collapsed, forming a massive crater. The parasites surrounding him were instantly swallowed by the explosion, their bodies completely obliterated.

Above, the parasites aboard the helicopters reacted immediately, opening fire with mounted machine guns.

A storm of bullets poured down into the crater.

They didn't fully understand what had just happened but they had all seen it.

That child had killed their captain with a single finger.

Inside the smoke-filled crater, a figure slowly rose.

Broly floated upward, his body suspended in midair through ki control, just like the flight technique mastered by Z Fighters.

Bullets slammed into him continuously

—but none of them had any effect.

They couldn't even break his skin.

He didn't even bother raising an energy barrier. His body alone, tempered by Saiyan physiology and immense power, was already beyond the reach of such weapons just as even high-caliber firearms had been useless against warriors far weaker than him in earlier battles.

Broly descended lightly back onto the ground.

Step by step, he walked forward through the rain of bullets, completely unharmed.

One of the parasites in the helicopter stared in horror.

"What… what kind of monster is this?!"

Every instinct it had screamed danger.

This wasn't an enemy they could fight.

This was something else entirely.

Without hesitation, the remaining parasites abandoned their assault and scrambled to retreat, pulling their helicopters upward in a desperate attempt to escape.

But against Broly, there was no escape.

He raised his hand slightly.

Several beams of light flashed across the sky.

In an instant, they sliced through the helicopters with surgical precision.

The aircraft split apart midair and exploded in a chain of fiery blasts.

Not a single parasite survived.
