Kojima Ren stood on the highest point of the watchtower, the morning breeze cool against his face as he looked out over the steadily growing island. The Eternal Growth Seed had already done its work new land had merged overnight, gardens were flourishing, and the territory now felt solid and defensible. Yet he knew they still had a long way to go.
"We keep moving forward," he said quietly, a calm determination in his voice. "More land, better defenses, and stronger bonds. The nerf from the Gods slowed my rolls, but it won't stop us from building something real."
Sylphira stood right beside him, her long red hair flowing gently in the breeze like living flames. She pressed close to his side, her arm looped around his waist, her golden eyes warm and full of quiet support. "Master… I love hearing you talk about our future like this. I'll stay right here with you, supporting everything you do including your harem. Mira can make you happy in her own way, and I'm glad she can. As long as I can stay close to you, I'm content."
Mira leaned against the railing on his other side, her curvaceous figure on full display. She gave him a playful, seductive smile. "Master~ Your ambition is so attractive. If you ever need a break from all this planning, I can help you 'relax' in a very enjoyable way. Just say the word."
Vaelor approached with his usual elegant stride, carrying a tray of fresh tea and snacks. His crimson eyes sparkled with mischief as he bowed. "Master, I have prepared morning refreshments. I added a touch of shadow essence for flavor subtle, smoky, and perfectly dramatic. If it displeases you, I shall once again offer to throw myself off the island in the most theatrical manner possible while reciting a tragic poem about failed tea."
Kojima couldn't help but smile. The mix of Sylphira's gentle support, Mira's bold teasing, and Vaelor's witty humor made even ordinary mornings feel lighter and more alive.
He opened the gacha menu to check the remaining extra roll. One was still available from the quest reward. "Let's use the last extra roll today. We need something useful for the kingdom."
[Ding! Using final extra roll — Territory Enhancement Banner!]
Golden light burst across the island. The card flipped open with a brilliant green glow.
[SSS — Eternal Growth Seed!]
A small, glowing seed appeared in Kojima's palm. It pulsed with warm energy.
Item Acquired: Eternal Growth Seed (SSS)
Effect: When planted in the center of your territory, it permanently increases island growth speed by 300% and automatically merges nearby small floating fragments over time.
Passive Bonus (due to max luck): The seed also boosts resource production and slightly enhances the loyalty and morale of all servants living on the island.
Kojima planted the seed immediately in the center of the island near the Eternal Spring Fountain. The ground glowed softly as roots spread outward. Within minutes, the island visibly expanded a little more, new patches of fertile soil forming and small fragments drifting closer to merge automatically.
Sylphira's eyes widened with admiration, her red hair catching the light. "Master… that seed is perfect. The island is already growing faster. I'm proud of you."
Mira stepped closer, her hand brushing Kojima's arm. "Mmm… the island is getting bigger, just like your ambitions, Master. I love watching you grow stronger. If you ever need a private celebration for this new power… I'm ready anytime."
Vaelor bowed with a faint, sly smile. "An excellent pull, Master. The island will soon be large enough to require a much more dramatic title for me. Perhaps 'Grand Shadow Overseer of the Ever-Growing Domain'? It has a nice ring to it."
The group spent the morning working together. Vaelor used his shadows to help direct the new growth, adding dramatic flair to every task. Mira helped with the gardens but kept stealing teasing glances at Kojima, occasionally brushing against him or whispering suggestive comments.
Sylphira stayed close to Kojima the entire time, helping with the garden patches. Her flames were precise and controlled as she shaped small irrigation channels. Every so often she would brush against him, her hand finding his for a gentle squeeze. "Master… I'm happy when we work together like this. Last night was special, but these quiet moments with you mean just as much. And if Mira wants to spend more time with you… I support it. I only want you to be happy."
By midday, the Eternal Growth Seed had already merged two small fragments and expanded the gardens noticeably. The territory now felt even more like a proper domain — secure, productive, and lived-in.
During a short break, they sat together near the fountain. Vaelor served cool drinks and made another witty remark. "Master, at this rate the island will soon be large enough to host a grand ball. I can provide the shadows for lighting, Mira can provide the entertainment, and Lady Sylphira can provide the elegant flames. I shall, of course, be the dramatic master of ceremonies."
Mira laughed and leaned against Kojima's shoulder. "As long as I get to dance with Master first… preferably in private afterward."
Sylphira sighed softly, but her hand found Kojima's under the table, squeezing it gently. "You two are noisy… but Master seems to enjoy it. That's what matters. And if it makes him happy… I'm glad we can all be here for him."
Kojima looked at the three of them — Sylphira's quiet devotion and open support for his harem, Mira's bold teasing, and Vaelor's humorous loyalty — and felt a deep sense of belonging. The nerf from the Gods had slowed his rolls, but it had given him time to build something real with the people around him.
As the afternoon continued, Kojima felt ready for whatever came next. The kingdom was growing. His companions were growing closer. And he was no longer the isolated young man from Tokyo.
