Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: The Lumina Tribe

Kojima Ren stood near the center of the island as the morning sun rose higher. The territory had grown steadily, but the nerf from the Gods still limited his rolls to one per week. He still had one extra roll left from the completed quest, and he felt it was time to use it.

Kojima: I still have one extra roll. Let's use it now. We need something that can help the kingdom grow faster.

Sylphira stood right beside him, her long red hair glowing softly in the sunlight. She slipped her arm around his waist and rested her head gently on his shoulder.

Sylphira: Master… go ahead. I'm here with you.

Mira leaned against the railing on his other side, her curvaceous figure outlined by the light. She gave him a playful smile and brushed her fingers along his arm.

Mira: Master~ Your ambition is so attractive. If you pull something good, maybe we can celebrate in a private way later? I have plenty of ideas.

Vaelor approached with his usual graceful steps, carrying a tray of fresh tea and snacks. His crimson eyes sparkled with mischief as he bowed.

Vaelor: Master, I have prepared morning refreshments with a touch of shadow essence for flavor. Subtle, smoky, and perfectly dramatic. If the taste displeases you, I shall throw myself off the island in the most theatrical manner possible while reciting a tragic poem about failed tea.

Kojima smiled and nodded.

Kojima: Thanks, Vaelor. Let's do the roll.

He opened the gacha menu and used the final extra roll.

[Ding! Using final extra roll — Special Race Banner!]

Golden light exploded across the island, brighter than usual thanks to his permanent max luck. The card flipped open with a brilliant silver-and-gold glow.

[Mythic — Lumina Sky Elf Tribe Contract!]

A shimmering contract appeared in Kojima's hands, followed by a soft, melodic chime. Moments later, a group of graceful figures materialized on the new land near the Eternal Spring Fountain.

They were the Lumina Sky Elves — a rare, ethereal race native to the highest floating islands. Their skin had a faint luminescent glow, their hair shimmered like starlight in shades of silver, pale blue, and soft gold, and their eyes held a gentle, wise light. They were naturally gifted with wind and light manipulation, excellent at farming, healing, and aerial defense. The tribe was small but elite, consisting of 28 members led by a calm and elegant chieftess.

The chieftess stepped forward. She had long silver hair with faint golden streaks, pointed ears adorned with crystal earrings, and a serene yet strong presence. She knelt gracefully before Kojima, her voice soft and respectful.

Lira: I am Lira, chieftess of the Lumina Sky Elf Tribe. The contract has bound us to you, Sovereign Kojima. From this day forward, our light, our winds, and our loyalty belong to you and your kingdom. We will help your island flourish and protect it with everything we have.

Kojima immediately opened the status windows to see the changes.

The rest of the tribe knelt behind her, their glowing hair shimmering in unison.

Sylphira smiled softly, her red hair catching the light as she stayed close to Kojima.

Sylphira: Master… this is wonderful. A whole tribe to help us build. I'm happy for you.

Mira's violet eyes sparkled with interest as she looked at the elves, then turned back to Kojima with a teasing smile.

Mira: Mmm… more beautiful people joining us, Master? The island is getting more interesting. If any of them want private lessons on how to please you, I'd be happy to teach.

Vaelor bowed elegantly, his crimson eyes twinkling.

Vaelor: A most excellent pull, Master. The Lumina Elves will add a beautiful glow to our domain. If they need assistance settling in, I shall provide the most dramatic and efficient welcome possible.

Lira rose gracefully and looked at Kojima with calm respect.

Lira: Thank you, Sovereign. We have brought our knowledge of sky-farming and light-based barriers. We can help your gardens grow faster and strengthen your defenses against future threats.

The Lumina Elves quickly began integrating. Some started tending the gardens, their light magic making plants grow visibly faster. Others helped Vaelor reinforce the fences with shimmering light barriers. The island felt more vibrant, more alive, with their gentle presence.

Kojima looked at his companions — Sylphira's quiet devotion, Mira's bold teasing, Vaelor's witty loyalty, and now the peaceful Lumina Elves — and felt a deep sense of belonging. The nerf from the Gods had slowed his rolls, but it had given him time to build something real with the people around him.

The afternoon sun climbed higher, casting long shadows across the new land. The Lumina Elves moved among the gardens like living stars, their soft light blending with Sylphira's warm flames and Vaelor's dark silhouettes. For the first time in a long while, the island didn't just feel like a place to survive. It felt like the beginning of something that could truly last.
