That's weird, I thought I was late.
Getting up from bed I dressed into my training clothes and left for morning training to section B with Ren, Ms.Longbern and Monica.

It was hot. Like, really hot. It was the end of June and summer was coming like a heat wave.
/Clang/Clang/
Sweat dripped down my face as I clashed with Monica.
"Ren, cover me!"
"Ugh, damn it!"
Ren drew a mana circle in the air for me to step on at the other side of where Monica stood. I went to his right and propelled forward toward the ring. The moment I landed on the ring I threw myself at Monica. Lifting up my broadsword I swung with all my might.
"HAAAA"
As soon as I was before her she smirked. Huh? Why is she smirking?
She dodged.
Right behind her was Ren, who was also trying to attack her.
My mind immediately went into panic. Am I going to crash into him? We both tried to stop our attacks as fast as we could but nothing could stop my momentum.

A dust cloud formed and I fell right on top of Ren. I got on all fours, still on top of him and asked "Are you okay?".
"…"
It seemed like he was hurt cause he didn't answer for a good while but he eventually replied "Yeah I'm …fine.".
I eventually got up only to see Monica with her eyes wide and her hands on her mouth. She looked kind of sorry? Or was it embarrassed? I really don't know, her face was kind of red too.
Everything doesn't seem to make sense these days... As I looked down at Ren to help him up I noticed his face was red too. Suddenly I got worried and put my hand on his forehead.
"Ren, do you have a fever? Want me to help you to your room?"
"N-no, we have class soon dumbass. Let's just go get changed"

As I was walking back to my room to get changed I thought something was strange. Why does Ren keep cursing me out lately? Did I even do anything wrong? Actually yeah, I fucking crashed into him duh. But he cursed me out before too and I didn't even do anything…
Oh well.
But… Ren is extremely petty. What if he's planning something to get back at me? He wouldn't do that right?
I arrived and quickly got changed into my uniform. Still kind of pondering something about Ren.
He surely isn't one to be trifled with, he's fast enough to dodge a person 2 ranks higher than him…
Than why couldn't he dodge me?
I thought about it until I arrived at class A25. As soon as I came in I sat right next to Ren.
