I opened my eyes and saw the sun shining vibrantly, brightening up the sky as the light rays teared through the dark clouds of the previously overcast sky, like the glow achieved after overcoming millions of dark clouds.
From the highest mountain peaks, the rivers flowed down gracefully in a sparkling stream, the water appeared in various unreal and glossy shades of blue and white, all molecules appeared as crystalline particles which reflected light that came from the sun into all directions visible to the human eye.
The fields that surrounded me were filled with greenery as far as visible to the human mind's eye, the gardens decorated with roses, daisies, sunflowers and tulips which seemed to sway and dance with each breeze that brushed past them; it looked like they were shining as the sunrays hit the dew drops that had formed on the tips of the ryegrass.
The overcast sky had cleared up, the silver lining had brightened up more and more causing the light to illuminate the surroundings all around to form a world of joyful brightness and bringing it out of painful darkness.
I stood there breathless as the birds soared through the skies like many paint brushes breezing through an Azure canvas. Their chirps and tweets synchronised all together to form a gentle, sweet and mellow harmony which seemed to narrate, in their sweet tones, fables of the unknown, along with the distant splashes and roars of the waterfalls that cascaded down into glittery ponds below.
Dawn's tender fingers had painted the celestial dome in hues of red, orange and amber as the night retired slowly and the sun rose higher up in the sky. The mist that had risen like ethereal veils were now being lazily chased away as the warmth of the sun enveloped the entire place.
With each step I took, the ground moved softly beneath my feet, a carpet of moss, grass and wildflowers releasing scents of honeyed nectar and wet mud present on the earth that seemed to move with each stride I walked.
Butterflies seemed to dance about the flowers of each colour of the rainbow, collecting their own lifestyle from the sweetness and joyfulness created from the ethereal and eternal celebration. Their iridescent, seemingly holographic of many colours of gold, silver , sapphire and emerald seemed to be flashing in a glimmery dance.
The earth itself felt like it was alive with a profound and quiet energy which got alive every time a star was close to its finish, or when a new star was about to take birth, forming the entire universe with ruby like sparkles which had dispersed into a beautiful and glowing expanse of colours and brilliants.
The soft winds brushed past each strand of my hair, making it feel like each lock had a life of its own. Each petal of every little flower that surrounded me seemed to shine a blurry and natural prettiness. Small colourful insects seemed to dance about the flowers as they hummed and buzzed in a gentle drone, along with the sounds caused by their small delicate wings which were flapping at a high pace.
The sight I saw before my eyes was an ethereal sight, the scenery was heavenly as each and every corner was decorated with a dreamy and divine drape of moonlit stardust. I touched the soft, delicate and sensitive petals of the flowers, my fingerprints leaving impressions behind on the rose petals. I closed my eyes and took a whiff of the cold and spectral air—it was there for a moment, then gone suddenly. I opened my eyes and saw myself laying down on the lifeless cold bed in my room, inhaling the cold and uncomfortable air that enveloped me. I realised then and there.
It was an unreal dream I saw,
A dream seen from a pair of optimistic eyes,
A world without a single flaw,
An unsaid feeling, expressed in a beautiful disguise.
