Kevin and Sara went to the mall for shopping. Both of them had come to spend some time together, but their lives were about to take unexpected turns. At the same time, Riyan was also present at the mall. He had come there for his own reasons, but destiny had something else planned.
Sara was nearby, and when Riyan suddenly heard her voice, something inside him stopped. It felt as if he had heard that voice before, as if it was deeply connected to his heart. Out of fear, Doctor Kevin instinctively hugged her tightly. It was as if he found comfort in her presence. Sara did not feel uncomfortable at all. Instead, she understood that he was scared and needed support.
With a calm and gentle voice, Sara comforted him and said, "Nothing will happen to you. Don't be afraid. I am here with you." Her words carried warmth and reassurance.
Slowly, Doctor Kevin began to calm down. His breathing steadied, and his grip on fear started to loosen. He then signaled Sara to close the windows. Without hesitation, she understood his request and went to close them.
At that moment, Sara realized something important — Doctor Kevin was afraid of thunder and lightning. This realization made her more compassionate toward him.
She guided him to the bed, made him lie down, and gave him water. She took care of him with genuine concern, ensuring that he felt safe and secure. After some time, the storm gradually settled, and the electricity finally returned.
With the return of light, Doctor Kevin slowly became normal again. His fear faded away, and he felt relieved. He looked at Sara with gratitude and curiosity and asked how he had come there.
Sara explained that his condition had been worsening, so she brought him to a safer place and took care of him. She spoke gently, not wanting to disturb his emotions.
When Doctor Kevin saw Sara standing on her own feet, he became extremely happy. His eyes filled with joy, and he couldn't hide his emotions.
Sara, however, was confused. She didn't understand why he was so happy. She looked at herself and realized something incredible — she was standing on her own feet.
For a moment, she was in shock. She hadn't even realized that she had regained the ability to stand and walk. Her eyes widened with surprise and happiness.
Overwhelmed with emotion, Sara hugged Doctor Kevin tightly and said, "Thank you, Kevin. This happened because of you. I am very happy today."
Doctor Kevin gently smiled and replied, "You should thank yourself too. The way you handled me today, understood my fear, and helped me — thank you so much."
Sara softly said, "What you have done for me is much greater than this."
After a moment, she hesitated but then asked in a soft voice, "If you don't mind, can I ask you something? Is there any reason behind your fear?"
Doctor Kevin smiled faintly and replied, "It's a long story. I will tell you some other time."
Sara respected his privacy and said, "Okay, I won't force you. But if you ever feel like sharing, or even if you feel angry, you can talk to me as a friend."
Doctor Kevin looked at her with appreciation and said, "I really liked your concern."
The next morning, at exactly 8:00 AM, someone knocked loudly on the door. The sound echoed through the house, breaking the silence of the morning.
Doctor Kevin went to open the door and saw an unknown person standing outside. He asked politely, "Who are you? Whom do you want to meet?"
That person was Riyan.
Riyan replied, "I am here to take Sara."
Doctor Kevin was confused because he knew Sara as Sofia. Hearing this, he couldn't understand what was happening. To clear the confusion, Riyan showed him a photograph of Sara.
At that moment, Doctor Kevin understood the truth. Sofia was actually Sara. He realized that she must have had a different identity or perhaps lost her memory. He assumed that Riyan might be a family member who had come to take her back home.
Feeling relieved and slightly emotional, Doctor Kevin called Sara downstairs.
When Sara came, Riyan looked at her with deep emotion and immediately hugged her tightly. His voice was filled with relief and happiness as he said, "Sara, I am so happy to see you."
However, Sara's reaction shocked him.
She gently stepped back and asked, "Who are you? I don't recognize you."
These words broke Riyan's heart. He stood there frozen, unable to process what he had just heard. It felt like the ground beneath him had disappeared.
Seeing this, Doctor Kevin stepped forward and explained the situation carefully. He said, "She has lost her memory. That's why she doesn't recognize you. But now that you are here, slowly her memory will come back."
