Chapter 11 - Tears, Blood… and Love

Ryan, in anger, picked up his phone and made a call. His voice was cold and dangerous.

"I've transferred 5,000,000 into your account," he said. "I've also sent you a photo. I want that person dead. Finish him. Whatever money you need, I'll give it. The job just needs to be done."

Hearing this, even Alice was shaken. She couldn't believe how far Ryan was willing to go.

As a friend, she tried to stop him. "Ryan, what you're planning to do is very wrong. This is not the solution."

Ryan looked at her with fury in his eyes. "Stay out of this. I don't need your advice. Just leave."

Seeing his state, Alice didn't argue further and quietly walked away.

On the other side, Emma had a small task near a library on the way. She politely asked Kevin, "Can I go to the library for two minutes? I'll be back quickly."

Kevin nodded calmly. "Of course, take your time."

Emma went inside, while Kevin stayed back in the car, waiting for her.

But his mind wasn't calm.

He was thinking only about Sara.

Her smile… her pain… her silence… everything was running through his mind.

Suddenly, his eyes fell on a vending machine a few steps away from the library.

And there—

He saw Sara.

She was standing there, taking a bottle of water.

For a moment, Kevin froze… and then happiness rushed through him.

He immediately stepped out of the car and called out loudly,

"Sara! Sara!"

Sara turned.

The moment she saw Kevin, her face lit up. All her guilt faded away instantly. She looked genuinely happy.

In excitement, the bottle slipped from her hand and fell to the ground.

Without thinking, she ran towards Kevin.

At the same time, Kevin also started running towards her.

But just as they were about to reach each other—

Suddenly—

Someone came from behind and hit Kevin hard on the head with a stick.

The moment the goons surrounded Kevin, the air itself felt heavy.

Before Kevin could even understand what was happening—

THUD!

A hard blow landed on the back of his head.

Everything went blank for a second.

His vision blurred.

He stumbled forward, trying to regain balance.

But before he could react—

Another hit came from the side.

BAM!

He fell to his knees.

A sharp pain shot through his body.

Blood slowly started trickling down from his forehead.

Sara's smile faded instantly as she saw this.

"Kevin!" she screamed, her voice filled with fear.

Kevin tried to stand up.

His hands pressed against the ground, his breath uneven.

But the goons didn't stop.

One of them grabbed his collar and pulled him up roughly.

Another punched him straight in the stomach.

Kevin gasped in pain.

The air knocked out of his lungs.

Yet—

Even in that condition—

His eyes searched for Sara.

As if he wanted to make sure she was safe.

Another goon lifted the stick again.

Sara shouted, "Nooo!"

But—

THACK!

The stick hit Kevin's shoulder this time.

He let out a low groan.

His body couldn't take it anymore.

Still…

He didn't beg.

He didn't shout.

He endured.

Because somewhere deep inside—

He knew Sara was watching.

And he didn't want her to feel scared.

One of the goons angrily said,

"Finish him."

He raised the stick again—

This time aiming for Kevin's head.

Kevin's vision was fading now.

Sounds were becoming distant.

Everything around him felt slow.

Blurry.

And the last thing he saw—

Was Sara running towards him.

Her eyes filled with fear…

and something deeper.

Something that made his heart feel at peace even in pain.

Then—

Darkness.

Sara's eyes were filled with fear as she saw Kevin lying on the ground, bleeding.

For a moment, her body froze.

Her hands trembled.

Her heart was pounding so loudly that she could barely hear anything else.

The goons kept hitting Kevin mercilessly.

Each blow felt like it was hitting her own heart.

"Stop… please stop!" she screamed, but no one listened.

Tears blurred her vision.

She felt helpless.

Weak.

Broken.

But then—

Something inside her changed.

A sudden flash crossed her mind.

A memory.

Her college days.

The training ground.

Her coach's voice echoing—

"Never forget… strength is not just in your body, it's in your mind."

Her eyes widened.

Her breathing changed.

She slowly looked at her hands… clenching them tightly.

"I am not weak…" she whispered.

And in the next second—

She ran towards the goons.

One of the goons turned towards her and laughed.

"What will you do, girl?"

Before he could react—

Sara's leg moved swiftly.

THUD!

A powerful kick landed straight on his chest.

He fell back instantly.

The others were shocked.

They didn't expect this.

Another man rushed towards her—

But Sara dodged him smoothly.

She grabbed his arm, twisted it hard—

CRACK!

He screamed in pain and dropped to the ground.

Her movements were fast.

Sharp.

Precise.

Like muscle memory had taken over her body.

Another goon tried to attack her from behind—

But Sara sensed it.

She turned quickly and delivered a spinning kick straight to his face.

He fell instantly.

Now all of them realized—

She was not an ordinary girl.

She was trained.

And dangerous.

One of them picked up a stick and charged at her.

This time, Sara didn't step back.

She moved forward.

Blocked the attack mid-air—

Grabbed the stick—

And forcefully pushed him away.

He lost balance and crashed to the ground.

Sara's breathing was heavy now.

But her eyes—

Were fierce.

Burning with determination.

The last two goons looked at each other.

Fear had replaced their confidence.

They tried to attack together—

But Sara was faster.

She ducked, moved between them, and struck both with quick, calculated blows.

Within seconds—

They were down.

Groaning.

Defeated.

Sara stood there, breathing heavily.

Her hands slightly shaking.

But her eyes still focused.

The goons, scared and injured, quickly got up and ran away.

As soon as they left—

Sara turned back.

Her strong expression broke instantly.

She ran to Kevin.

"Kevin…" her voice trembled.

All her strength disappeared in a second.

She fell beside him, her hands shaking as she tried to stop the blood.

Her warrior side faded—

And only her love and fear remained.

Sara immediately rushed to Kevin.
