That very night, No Name did not return to the streets.
He walked straight toward the city center, cutting through the rain, slicing across the sea of neon, heading for the 80-story skyscraper that proudly bore the emblem of Aegis Dynamics.
Layered defense systems, armed security drones equipped with micro-missiles, and dozens of elite bionic guards… all of it looked like children's toys in the face of his power.
Anyone who stood in his way met the same fate.
No Name simply raised his hand.
Pure Darkness tore through ten-inch steel like paper, drained the core energy from every drone until they dropped like dead flies, and reduced security personnel to nothing but ash. The luxurious marble lobby was painted with silent devastation.
"Weak…"
He ascended to the top-floor penthouse, where Aegis' board of directors was holding an emergency meeting after losing contact with their elite unit.
The thick double oak doors shattered into black dust.
Seven middle-aged men in suits worth millions of credits froze in their seats.
At the doorway stood a drenched young man, his eyes colder than the void, black mist writhing endlessly around his body.
"W-Who are you?! Security!" the CEO scbehind a bloated man with cybernetic eyes now flickering in panic.
"Your security is already part of the ground," No Name replied flatly, his voice cutting through the luxurious silence.
He stepped forward. The air in the room grew unbearably heavy.
Two directors who tried to flee toward the private elevator were instantly torn apart as shadowy tendrils pierced through their chests, draining their life force before dropping their lifeless bodies to the floor without a sound.
The CEO fell from his chair, scrambling backward, begging.
"W-What do you want?! Money? Shares? Take everything! Just don't kill me!"
No Name stopped right in front of him, looking down without emotion.
"Full access to Aegis's archive systems," he said coldly. "And the transfer of all assets, infrastructure, and corporate ownership… to my name."
"T-That's insane! The central board will notice!"
No Name raised a single finger.
He touched the CEO's shoulder.
Instantly, an overwhelming freezing sensation spread, destroying the nerves in the man's arm. The CEO let out a strangled scream as his arm turned pitch black, numb and lifeless.
"Do it," No Name whispered, "or your entire body will feel what your arm just did… slowly, over the course of hours."
With tears and snot streaming down his face, under the shadow of absolute death, the transfer was carried out biometrically. Every encrypted code, underground banking system, and ownership structure was handed over.
The holographic screen flickered.
OWNERSHIP TRANSFER COMPLETE.
"I-It's done! Now let me go!!" the man cried in desperation.
No Name raised his finger again without the slightest hesitation.
Darkness engulfed the CEO.
In an instant, he was consumed completely… leaving not a single drop of blood behind.
