As Tora arrived at the massive headquarters of No Name Corporation, his steps felt heavy.
Amid the grandeur and advanced technology surrounding him, Tora kept his head lowered.
His trembling hand covered the upper part of his face.
The claw wounds around his eyes not only caused excruciating pain, but also made him feel deeply uncomfortable and restless with his now ruined appearance.
Noticing the boy's discomfort, No Name stopped walking.
Without saying much, the man in the black suit reached into his pocket and handed Tora a piece of thick, dark cloth.
"Put this on," No Name said flatly.
Tora looked up hesitantly and accepted the cloth.
"That's not just an ordinary blindfold," No Name continued. "It's designed to synchronize with its user. Not only will it cover your wounds, it will also act as an extension of your combat instincts. You won't need your eyes to perceive your enemy's movements anymore."
Slowly, Tora tied the cloth over his damaged eyes.
The moment it settled into place, something incredible happened.
The total darkness that once terrified him transformed into a sensory map within his mind.
He could feel the flow of air, the presence of No Name, and the dimensions of the room with perfect clarity.
Tora let out a relieved breath as his discomfort faded.
After that, No Name led him into a vast iron chamber the Armory.
Even behind the blindfold, Tora was stunned. The room was filled with hundreds of legendary weapons.
There were mystical swords radiating magical auras, and high-tech rifles that looked capable of leveling entire buildings.
Tora tried holding several swords and spears, but every time he gripped them, he felt a strange emptiness.
The weapons rejected him, completely incompatible with his fighting style.
Seeing Tora's confusion, No Name walked past the glowing weapons toward a darker corner.
He picked up a massive double-bladed axe, its edges heavy and intimidating, then handed it to Tora.
"Try this one," No Name ordered.
Tora grasped the handle. An overwhelming weight immediately pressed into his arms, yet somehow, it felt perfectly right as if it had been made for him.
"I know you don't possess pure energy within your body," No Name said, reminding Tora of the painful taunts he used to hear in the experimental facility.
"But this axe is different. It doesn't require energy from its user."
"Instead, it absorbs energy from nature and the world around it."
Tora was stunned. He swung the axe slowly, and sure enough, he could feel the surrounding air and energy being drawn into its blade, making it grow stronger.
"This weapon will perfectly cover your weakness," No Name added.
Before Tora could say thank you, No Name had already turned toward the exit.
"Stay here for now. Get used to that axe," he said without looking back. "I have something to take care of."
The armory door shut tightly, leaving Tora alone.
He sat there, holding his new axe in his lap, waiting for No Name to return.
