My mind couldn't stop replaying his words.
Someone sold you into my world.
I looked at Rudra, my voice shaking.
Why would anyone do that to me ?
He didn't answer immediately. He just watched me carefully.
That's why I'm trying to find out. he said finally. A faint silence filled the room.
I took a step back.
"So someone I know did this ?"
For a moment... something changed in his expressions. Rudra exhaled slowly.
May be, or may be not. He replied.
My heart dropped.
"No..." I whispered. That's not possible.
Then he said that....
I was given your file.
I frowned. My file ?
"Yes" he said.
Your identity, your location. Everything I needed to bring you here.
My breath caught.
So you planned this ?
Rudra's jaw tightened.
"No."
Then he added-
I followed what I was given.
So you are saying someone gave you me like a target ? He nodded slightly.
But why me ? My voice broke.
Rudra's eyes darkened. That's the part I don't have. That stopped me completely.
You don't have it ? I asked.
No.. he said quietly.
The information was incomplete...
My stomach twisted.
So you don't even know who sent me to you ? His silence answered everything.
A new fear grew inside me.
Not just fear of him....
But fear of the unknown.
So I'm just a piece in someone's game....
I whispered.
Rudra stepped closer.
You are not just a piece... he said.
Before I could respond.
A loud explosion like sound echoed outside.
What was that ?
Rudra turned toward the door instantly.
His voice dropped cold.
"They found us."
My blood ran cold. Who found us ?
He looked back at me and said..
The people who started this.... and don't want it exposed .
I stood in the middle of the room. Footsteps echoed outside the door.
Rudra stood near me. Don't move, he said.
The door opened. Two men entered.
Not rushed. Not scared.
Like they already belonged here.
One of them looked at Rudra then at me.
So this is her, he said.
My body went cold.
What do you want ? Rudra asked.
The man smiled slightly.
"We came to take what was ours."
Ours..? I whispered without thinking.
Then the man said something that confused me more.
"She doesn't belong here..."
What does that mean ? I asked quietly.
Rudra immediately stepped half in front of me. Blocking me slightly.
That's enough, he said coldly.
The man didn't react.
I looked at Rudra. What they are talking about ? He didn't answer me.
Then he said-
Leave.
The man didn't move. You can't protect her forever, he said.
Rudra stepped forward slightly.
"I said leave."
Then finally the men turned and walked out.
The door closed. Silence filled the room again. Nothing made sense anymore.
What was that ? I asked.
He said quietly--
You are not supposed to be here forever.
My stomach dropped. What does that mean ? He finally looked at me.
It means they will take you.
I felt my body go cold.
And when they do this won't be a safe place anymore, he added.
Silence filled the room again.
And for the first time...
I realised I wasn't just taken.
I was part of something bigger.
Something I didn't even knew.
