Sunny slowly started regaining consciousness.
He felt like he fell from room and landed on a tombstone.
He was binded onto a stone table, he was naked but the stab wound on his stomach was bandaged up.
But that wasn't his biggest concern at the time.
His hands were bare and on full display, the burns visible in the dim light.
His head turned to the left and saw hooded individuals lined up and bowing before him. An individual in all white appeared in front of him.
"Boy, you blood has been recognised as cursed and impure, for that. We the House of the Blind Eye will oversee your ." The man stated as the others cheered on.
"What the..... you guys are insane, you haven't done anything wrong." He started, trying to convince them.
"Nonsense!! You have the hands of taboo. Your blood is impure and tainted. You must die!!"
The man stated as he held onto Sunny's hands.
He tried to speak but they wrapped rob around his mouth to keep him quiet. They other figures began to cheer.
Sunny watched on as he saw the leader emerge with a dagger, and some black liquid in a bowl.
They painted something on his stomach, chest and head.
The man raised the dagger and aimed for his heart.
"Your sins shall be redeemed!" He uttered as he brought the blade down.
Sunny closed his eyes and prepared for the worse.
But the roof of the chapel caved in completely.
Sunny looked up and saw Sasha riding the last vulture, she had a large smile on her face.
"Alright everybody, I hope you're already dead!"
She uttered as the vulture screeched loudly.
Sunny watched on with awe and hope in his eyes. Then it all comes crashing down in an instant.
Sasha jumped out of the rubble and started attacking everyone. She started with a few individuals, punching one right through the face.
She then got stabbed but shook it off, and continued on beating them up, even throwing a piece of the floor at them.
The vulture was ripping everybody else alive, eating one of the barbarians, but three huge individuals stepped forward and started attacking it.
Punching, slashes, the barbarians were ripping the Vulture into pieces.
Sunny managed to free himself after burning the ropes. He wanted to help Sasha but the woman, now wearing all white jumped onto him and started strangling him.
Sunny grabbed her arms and headbutted her, throwing a few punches before she went down.
The leader then missed him with a dagger, Sunny turned around and saw him standing while holding a strange metallic object.
"That's what I'm looking for, grab it you idiot!" She shouted as she got stomped on by one of the barbarians.
Sunny stared at the man before spitting out some blood and charging towards him.
The leader tried to stab Sunny but he dodged it and grabbed his wrist and broke it, heading butting him afterwards.
The leader stumbles back, bleeding every time Sunny grabs him and throws him towards the Vulture.
This distracts the barbarians long enough for Sunny to throw the Stabilizer towards Sasha who catches it and it absorbs into her arm.
Her arms shift into the barrel of a cannon, immediately charging it to maximum output.
"Hey....." Sasha utters as the barbarian turns towards her. "Burn in hell, you mindless homosapians!!"
She shouts as a massive beam of mana shouts out her hands, vaporizing the barbarian in front of her and the ones behind her, even taking out the vulture.
The whole chapel collapses instantly as rubble falls on everyone...
When the smoke clears, there is nothing but wreckage and destruction. A black line is left in the ground as evidence of Sasha's attack.
The rubble moves as Sasha crawls out , her left arm still smoking slightly.
"Hehehe.... ain't i a genius." She tells herself as she starts looking for Sunny.
She finds a burnt hand half buried in the rubble and grabs it.
"Don't come off." She mutters as she pulls him out.
Sunny coughs out smoke dust and blinks a few times, noticing he can't see through his left eye.
..... "Ugh.... what happened?" He asks her.
Sasha picks up a piece of glass and slashes across his left eye.
"Hey, can you see me now?" She asks him, snapping her fingers to keep him conscious.
"Yeah, i..." He muttered but Sasha interrupted him.
"Good, your left eye was swollen.... Damn, look at how powerful my baby is, oh Sunny, I could think of three ways to thank you and only one doesn't involve intercourse."
She tells him, biting down on her bottom lip, the moment is interrupted when she notices movement from the rubble.
She drops Sunny and walks towards it, she lifts up some stone and finds the leader still breathing.
He lost his legs but was still breathing. Sasha points her arms at him and it shifts into the cannon.
"Wait!... s-spare me!! P-please i...." he utters but Sasha steps on his wounded leg.
"Shut up, your voice annoys me." She uttered, ready to fire.
"Wait Sasha!!" Sunny shouts as he runs towards them.
He looks at the man begging for his life, then towards and back.
"Let him go. It's not worth it." He mutters .
"Hah! No way, this bastard almost killed me." She points out, raising one finger.
"And then he stabbed you." She uttered, raising a second.
"Dont you feel a little angry?" She asks him, her arm still pointed towards the man.
Sunny reaches for the wound on his stomach, and rubs the bandages, smearing blood on his finger tips.
"It only hurts, besides we're both still alive and we got your stabilizer." He told her.
"Now we have better things to deal with, like the fact that we are naked and don't have any clothes."
He pointed out as the wind blew.
Sasha looked at him then at the leader on the ground and smiled.
"Alright then, take his clothes." Sasha told him.
Sunny stared at him but only saw a neutral smile on Sasha's face.
He sighed and walked up to the man, opening his robe and taking his shirt and cloak.
"Alright, I got them. Now I just need some pants."
He stated as he walked towards another corpse.
The next thing Sunny heard as a loud BOOM!! Behind him and the ground shaking.
When he looked back he saw a large crater and Sasha lowering her arm.
He dropped the clothes and ran towards her. "Why? Why did you do that?!?!"
He shouted but Sasha pointed her arm at him, charged and ready.
"I came back for you cause I saw an element that can not be lost."
She uttered as she steadied her arm.
But if you say that what i did here was wrong, I'll extinguish that flame before it has the chance to burn bright. Are you with me... Sunny?"
She asked him.
Sunny looked at the crater then at Sasha, he opened his mouth and spoke.
"Yeah... I'm with you Sasha. 100 percent." He told her, his expression neutral.
Sasha lowered her arm and it shifted back into her hand.
"Oh good, cause killing you would have been a variable i was not planned for." She states as she lets out a deep sigh.
"Now, it's looting some bodies." She stated.
"Yeah okay." Sunny stated as they began.
