Sunny was headed to the Whispering Forest, a short cut that would cut his time in half but is also risking a lot.
The whispering woods is a vast stretch of land that covers 90 percent of the whole kingdom.
"Oh boy, haven't been here in a while now." He states as he walks through.
The forest is slightly quiet except for the humming of birds and other animals.
Sunny walks in a straight line, avoiding any obstacle that tries to hinder his progress.
He stops by a lake and decides to set up camp for the day.
He places Sasha down on her side and checks her wound, cleaning it with some water mixed with salt.
"It's gonna hurt a little, okay Sasha."
He states as he pressed the cloth against her wound, wiping away any blood or residue before covering it up.
Sunny stood up and stretched his left arm out, feeling that it had healed enough and ripped off the cast.
He sits by her as he watches branches flutter and sway as the wind blows.
"You know for the longest time I was completely by myself if that's hard to believe." He stated as he turned toward Sasha.
"Nah, that's not too hard to believe actually." He added on.
"Like there was time I got really hurt. Some guys at a bar saw my hands just attacking me. It was really bad."
"I lost a few teeth from that, barely made it out alive. When I went back and asked my mom why people are like that she told me...."
"Don't worry my darling, people just see differently from everyone else."
He stated.
"That i was my own kind of..." sunny paused as he heard something move within the trees.
He stood up and looked around, blowing in lightly.
Swoosh!!
He heard it, and quickly dived towards Sasha, catching an arrow before it hit her head.
"Really, sneak attacks. If you want to kill someone, I suggest you show yourself already..... It's not funny, you know."
He stated as he snapped the arrow.
"Well, I didn't expect that would faze you but surprisingly you care more about your..... guest than yourself."
A voice started from somewhere within the forest.
Sunny stood up and lit a ring of fire around Sasha making sure that it wouldn't hurt or disturb her.
"I'm free now, so you better show yourself already, I know you're there." He stood, looking around.
Swoosh!
Another arrow was fired, Sunny managed to catch it before it hit his face. But wasn't fast enough to stop the punch coming towards his stomach.
"Youre slower, what's wrong? Don't tell me you're injured."
The individual stated as he landed a punch right on Sunny's stomach.
"Damn it....." Sunny uttered before as he was sent crushing through the trees, the individuals fist still on him before retracting back.
"Come on Sunny, don't tell you're that weak." He started as he cracked his fists.
Sunny came back, his hand clutching his stomach as blood dripped from his mouth.
"Well, you always know how to make an entrance. So what are you doing here... Hunter." Sunny stated as he spat out blood.
Hunter stretched his arms above his head, "Well, I was just in the neighborhood and felt your mana, so I had to know what brought you back here."
Hunter stated, his gaze locked onto Sunny.
"Since when do I have time for what I'm doing... Anyway, I'm taking my friend to a town east of here, she needs medical treatment."
He stated as they started circling each other.
Hunter looked gazed behind Sunny before returning to him.
"Since when do you help people, i thought it was rough for you to trust strangers."
He stated, his voice lowering a little.
The sunny expression shifted slightly but returned back to normal.
"Well she's different, and I made a promise." He started as he took off his cloak.
Hunter stopped and started moving towards him, Sunny did the same until they both stared each other in the face.
"Well, im disapointed." Hunter stated as he threw his arm back, stretching it back as far as it could go.
Sunny did the same, heating his fist until flames erupted from them, he winched slightly.
Sunny's fist came back so fast it heated up the air, causing a small explosion in its path. Hunter first came back faster, Sunny couldn't see it until it was right in his face.
Both of their attacks landed, sending them both back.
Sunny managed to stop himself before he could land on Sasha, he looked back to make sure she was okay before turning back towards Hunter.
"Come on, is that all you got?" Sunny stated, smiling slightly.
Hunter came back pinching his nose, "you're cocky today." He stated as he charged towards him.
