"... Hm, I summoned two of my S ranked character cards, two of my item cards and a tactical skill... I hope this works... if I can mask the use of shadow Magic as card skills I just might be able to go unnoticed".

The Nether witch slammed her staff into the ground and from the deep darkness, five skeletal soldiers arose.
"Alright, I'll leave defending her position to the five of you... "
With that said, Min-jun summoned the two weapons from his drawn hand. With the left handed dark moon dagger in his left and the Blood-bash shield in his right, he began the charge.
"Argoste let's go!!"
Min-jun called out for the second character card he had summoned, Argoste, The Dark Phantom.
With Argoste by his side, Min-jun charged into the sea of metal. Swift and unyielding slashes tore through the technodroids. Min-jun needed more speed, issuing a command for Argoste to use his basic skill.
"... I need fire power. Argoste!! Use Shadow Possession!!!"
Argoste's body dissolved into a dark mist that forced it's way into the core of a nearby technodroid.
"Technodroids are mostly powered by their cores and with Argoste, it basically means a new body... ..."
Dark energy invaded the technodroid's metallic frame and soon after, dark crystalline structures erupted from it. Argoste had successfully taken over the technodroid.
Min-jun was a monster in the eyes of the officials. Never in all the months of registering the newly awakened card masters, had they encountered a being of such magnitude. His movements were not wasted, each slash hitting dead on.
Some of the officials marvelled at Mell and the skeletal warriors. They were in perfect sync, no need for Min-jun's instructions.
Mell kept spamming Dark Bullets, creating openings for the skeletal warriors.
On a giant teleprompter, numbers kept increasing, from Twenty-nine and then straight to fifty. The head examiner looked at his wrist watch, telling the other officials that there we're only three minutes remaining.
"... Do you think he can break Seo-ah's record?!"
"... ...Not sure, without a unique skill I doubt he'd break the record".
Min-jun knew this well... ...
"Hmm, I have three minutes. I can't show of too much... The first ever record was a hundred kills in five minutes... ... Which means I have to slow down a bit".
Argoste smashed his fists into the back of one technodroid, finishing it off by throwing it into another one before using his final strike to return to Min-jun's hand.

with a lateral swing of his blade, a wave of solidified darkness passed through the crowd of technodroids. Min-jun turned away, sheathing his dark dagger as he looked at the head examiner.
They wondered whether he had run out of Mana, since the droids were still active. The monitor count remained at Eighty-five.
"... Who's the gifted new applicant?"
"Oh Captain Sun, you hardly came for these things. He's an S ranked card master but his proficiency is less than Seo-ah's".
"Hmm how disappointing".

And in the testing room, the once standing technodroids had been cleaved in two.
The head examiner put two and two together.
"...wait, that last attack he summoned... Did he actually destroy sixteen heavy metal technodroids with a single attack?!!!!"
Captain Sun was amused, a shrug of laughter escaping as he turned and walked away.
"... I'd say your hypothesis was wrong, head examiner, Ji-ho... Hahaha!!!"
The room was silent, the heavy weight of what they had witnessed still hanging. Someone had actually broken Seo-ah's record.
Soon after, the receptionist brought Min-jun his official Master Identification Card. With his card, he was now able to challenge every accessible tower in the New Lotus Alliance's Jurisdiction.
Min-jun was ready to exit the guild building, his excitement barely contained.
All eyes were glued to him, some marvelled at the high rank he attained. Others were wondering whether he was associated with a noble family. Min-jun was eager to challenge a tower as soon as possible, reaching for the door, he was suddenly called by a group of well dressed security men.
"Mr. SHADE, the chairman would like a word with you".
The crowds were shocked, was he about to be recruited into the night gale?!
Some were curious, others jealous. They saw Min-jun as some noble greenhorn, not understanding the sheer torment he had gone through to gain such power.
Min-jun wished he could refuse, but he couldn't. He was highly warry when it came with dealing with the government.
He turned around, his hands still tucked in the pocket of his black coat as he walked away with the guards.
