Clara and Eric searched frantically for Henry at the country club, where they usually hanged. They were to meet for the Easter Monday celebration there, as they usually did on holidays. "Where on earth could that guy be?" Clara, asked no one in particular. "Let me try calling him." Eric suggested, and dialed his number. "Henry, where are you? … Okay, we are coming. He is on the terrace; he didn't sound so well. I think something is up." Eric said, after talking to Henry on the phone. He paved way for Clara to take the lead, as they went upstairs. The time read 3:30pm, but the sun was still showing off its glory in a scorching way. Henry sat at the far end of the terrace, looking lost in his own world when his friends got there. Clara and Eric exchanged knowing looks as they approached him carefully. Being his friends, they knew about his moods very well and therefore treaded carefully. "Henry?" Clara called in a calm voice but received no response. "Hey, bro. Is something wrong? Earth to Henry." Eric touched him on the shoulder in a gentle manner, bringing him back to the real world. Henry turned with a jolt and looked at his friends. "You two finally got here." He spoke. "What happened?" Clara asked. "Yeah, dude, why are you gloomy?" Eric added. "I had a fight with my dad. He found out I hurt Amanda Hillman in school somehow." Henry replied, getting up to the edge of the terrace. His eyes changed instantly when he saw some girls downstairs. Clara followed his sight to see what he was looking at and gasped. A confused Eric looked down as well, and smirked. "Well, this day isn't ruined after all. It just got better." They both went downstairs, leaving Henry behind. "Wow, I don't know whether it's God or a force working here, but I sure am glad to see you here." Eric began, startling them. They turned to see their boys' and girls' prefect behind them. "Senior Eric, Sister Clara, what are you doing here? How come Henry isn't with you?" Ellen asked, surprised to see them and shocked at her own words at the same time. "I was about to ask the same thing. Henry is up there. Look up." Eric replied. (They all look up) "By the way, why call Henry with his name and use formalities with us?" Clara spoke teasingly, making Ellen shy. "We are here to play tennis and spend time together." Kelly spoke this time, coming to her friend's rescue. Ellen looked up again and saw Henry staring at her. "Um, why is Henry standing there? He looks grim." Ellen asked coyly. "How about you go there and ask him that." Eric said with a smile. "Yeah. I am sure if anyone can cheer him up, it is you. We will join the two of you to play." Clara encouraged, turning to Abby and Kelly. Ellen turned to look at her friends, who gave her a reassuring smile. They also thought, Henry would be able to cheer their friend up. Abby in particular was happy to see him here. They called her an hour ago to join them for a holiday fun activity at the country club. When they met her, they knew immediately something is wrong, but they didn't pry. Elena gave her permission because her daughter needed a break from their current family drama, and she had to think about everything on her own. Her friends were jittery to be in that part of the city, as they barely went to areas like these. They were impressed with how well-kept and organized Ellen's little house was. Ellen in turn, was glad George and Aaron left before her friends called for directions, and left with them for the country club. A place for sports and entertainment, though she never thought she'd be visiting there any time soon.
