Chapter 3 - First Customer

After that I sat on the chair and waited, though since no one was showing up right away I pulled out my phone to read some stories.

It's quite fascinating the amount of minds across the multiverse that can go around and write up their own stories with their own self inserts into pre-existing worlds for the heck of it.

Hell I even wrote stories for myself in my old life to make some money to help pay the bills while working my old 9 to 5 job and not only that I had my own real life pokemon to play with.

Luckily I can go out and explore worlds in my off time which after all if my math is right then an hour in here is the equivalent of three days passing in the greater multiverse.

But luckily the system has it so time can move at one to one for any universe that has become a customer to a store as a whole.

But after an hour the door began to glow and open, only nobody walked inside, at first nothing happened but the white void, which is called the veil between worlds, rippled meaning the person on the other side was attacking the door.

I put my my head in my hand as I leaned in, "You know that attacking the door isn't going to do anything right?" I say towards the door as since the store and their reality are linked their is no real distance and whoever was on the other side could hear me.

"…. And suddenly spawning a door right within my own lair isn't rude enough?" A woman's voice could be heard on the other side.

I sigh, "Lady I have no control where that door appears it only goes to where someone desires something that they can't easily obtain, but if you have no interest in my wares then just close the door and it will disappear for good, however my store sells everything and anything one could ever desire, and seeing the door appear before you means you desire something that my store can provide." I say to the other side.

With the credits I now have I don't have to try and make a hard sale as it is with anyone for the time being, but profits are still profits so I would prefer they at least come inside.

The other side goes silent for a moment probably pondering my words to see their worth before suddenly a hand reached through and waving it around before a blonde haired woman peered in.

Seeing what was said was true her eyes which were half lidded widened at what she saw before her.

It was as I said to her a shop with the walls covered in weapons, armor, books and many other assorted items before she full stepped on through the veil letting me see her fully.

Wearing a black hooded cloak with her hair tied in a braid in front of her chest with black snake tattoos across her arms while her bare feet stepped on the hardwood floor as I looked at the panel that appeared above her head.

"It really is a store…" She muttered as she looked around, though it unnerved her that she was unable to let her Vector Arrows flow around this room, in fact she couldn't summon any of her magic.

"It's a safety protocol, can't have anyone use their powers to wreck the place or attack me." Another thing about the shop that inside of here I am basically a god since any and all attacks to me and the shop are nullified when one enters.

She slightly pursed her lips at that, but just by looking at me and how nonchalant I was being she walked forward towards me.

"Welcome to my shop where anything and everything is for sale." I said to her as she took a seat across from me.

"Everything? That's a bold claim to say that you sell everything when this shop is so small." She says but I just shake my head and with a snap of my fingers a screen appears.

"It really isn't, you see Mrs. Gorgon this shop exists outside of your worlds existence and as such I have access to everything that exists in your world and throughout the multiverse, weapons that could kill gods? I sell those, a bio plague that turns humans into shambling corpses? I sell that too, you want to kill the very concept of death itself? I sell what you need right here, but everything I sell has a price." I say as her eyes slightly widen when I said I could kill Death itself.

"And what do I have to pay to reach that price?" She asked me with a serious look on her face.

"Anything, you can sell me anything, items, skills, magics, your limbs, years of your lifespan, he'll even your soul can be sold to me for store credits, and may I say that your soul is probably the most expensive thing on your person, after all a witches soul in your world is much more valuable than a normal soul across the entire multiverse." Which was saying something for how expensive her soul was worth.

Seeing this the list before her showed her the worth of everything she had on her with her soul being worth 5,000 Credits and mind you a single credit is worth a ton of gold so her soul is worth quite a bit, well that is for a mortal being.

Seeing this she squinted her eyes, "And if I were to say sell my soul, what would happen to me?" She said clearly tempted by the idea.

I rubbed my chin, "Well nothing, you would still keep your soul but upon your death the shop shall claim it and bring you back here where you would be forced to work here for the rest of eternity, but I'm not a completely heartless person so you can buy it back at twice for what you sold it for." I say to her.

Basically when someone sells off their soul for credits it's made into collateral which the shop claims on their death and then the store owns them until they pay off their debt and are allowed to move onto the afterlife as a result, if they want that is or they can decide to stay in the shop permanently if they know that they would end up in hell for who and what they are.

Hearing this her eyes visibly brightened before looking back at the list of things she could buy.

Though killing death was a goal of hers, bringing madness and chaos to the world to force her stagnant world to begin to start moving forward again instead she began to look at what could enhance her greatest invention she calls 'Black Blood'

So without anymore hesitation she would off her very soul for 5,000 credits and in return she used her credits to buy three things, the Mad Virus that made Black Blood highly contagious changing it from a blood borne transmission to being airborne instead.

Another being the Madness Enhancement from the fate verse to enhance those effected by the Black Blood but losing more of their sanity in the process.

And the blueprints for a Remedy for her disease called Madness Nulifier, it keeps all the benefits that Black Blood gives but allows the user to control their sanity but the more they lose control the stronger they become but the more sane they are the less the overall powers is but the debuff is very minor so having complete control of madness and being empowered by it as a result.

Now this Black Blood will make anyone who gets it completely insane and out of control besides those who are administered the antidote allowing them to keep their sanity while having full control of the black blood.

With the sale I earned myself a nice 2,500 Credits to my already large amount I had for myself.

"And that settles that, though I will be clear to you since you sold your soul to the shop your soul is now locked to your body, so if you were thinking about about trying to move your soul into a new body as you die I'm sorry to say that's not going to work." I say to her making her momentarily frown at hearing that.

"After all mortal beings usually only have one shot at life, so try your best not to get killed so quickly Mrs. Gorgon." I say to her with a smirk on my lips before snapping my fingers as a silver ball on a necklace appears before her.

"This is your ticket to come back here whenever you want, so long as you have this on your person and think about this place before a door and you will return back here." As she had spent over 1,000 credits here she gained the Silver grade access to the shop with the grades going from copper, silver, gold, Platinum, Diamond, Mythril and Void grade levels and grades to the shop.

Copper: spend any amount of credits, access to the shop once a week

Silver: spend 1,000 credits, access to the shop twice a week

Gold: spend 10,000 credits, Access to the shop once a day and 10% off all purchases

Platinum: Spend 1 million Credits, Full Access to the shop when opened, once a year inter dimensional travel with full open access to that world and 15% off all purchases.

Void: Spend 100 million Credits, Full Access to the shop at anytime, monthly inter dimensional travel with full open access to the worlds visited and 20% off all purchases.

She looked at the silver ball and chain before stuffing it away in her pocket, "Then I will thanks for the items shop keeper, if this goes well you'll see from me again soon." She says giving a wave with a snake like smile on her face before going out the door and closing it behind her.

"Oh I know you will, just depends whether your madness will see about the end of your world, or will you be cut down by the many enemies before you?" I mutter to myself before I pull back out my phone again and begin to read once more.

After that the day slowly went by before it finally came to an end, but that's not surprising as this is the first day and the door only opens up in one universe per shop day.

Seeing as Medusa wasn't going to be returning for a minimum of a few days I proceeded to close up shop for the day and making sure the shops time now was synchronized with the world of Soul Eater before heading back to my personal home.

I played with my Pokemon for a bit, made all of us food and then got ready for a new gaming session in my favorite game of Yggdrasil.
