As I entered the door once more I actually apppered behind the counter with me back in my dress clothes once more.
I leaned on the counter as I waited for the guest to show up, but unsurprisingly even though the door was opened they didn't enter.
*Plop*
"What the?…." I couldn't help but say as a pink blob of some kind entered the door but nothing else.
Confused I went over to check and see what it was, "Is this…. Bubblegum?" I lifted it up and smelled it as it looked like a fist sized blob of bubblegum.
Not sensing anything dangerous from it I picked up, but as I did I suddenly noticed it had two black dots on it.
And then they blinked.
"Whoa! What the hell?!" That freaked me out to see so I tossed it out of the door back to where it came from.
On the other side of the door a woman wearing a pink dress with a lab coat over it saw the gum blob made from her own hair come back out of the door.
The girl, Better known as Princess Bubblegum from the Cartoon Series Adventure Time, picked up the gum blob that was made from a part of her hair before placing it back in place before blinking her eyes.
"A shop?… and a man who looks human like Finn? But that shouldn't be…." The Princess said confused as supposedly all humans were wiped out in the Mushroom War 1,000 years ago.
"Hello? I know someone is out there, I'm sorry if the door surprised you but I'm not here to hurt you, I'm just here to sell my wares is all, if you don't want to see what I have that's fine as well I won't stop you but do know this is the chance of a lifetime, this shop sells anything you could ever want and more, but if you don't want to see then you can shut the door now." The man's voice could be heard through the white void making her ponder at his words.
"…. You truly sell anything?" I heard a young woman's voice on the other side of the door.
"Of course, anything you could desire is sold here, magical items, technology, positions, people, everything with all the bells and whistles is sold here in my humble shop as everything has a price after all." I say to her as I walk back behind my counter and waited.
She was either going to close the door and not come in or her curiosity would get the better of her and she would have to see what my shop was all about.
Hearing this her curiosity was intrigued and having seen the other side from her tiny gum blob of herself she decided to take a chance and walked through the doorway.
Soon enough she appeared within the shop she had seen earlier and the man was now behind the counter.
"Well this is a surprise, if it isn't Princess Bubblegum of the Candy Kingdom, this is quite a surprise to see someone from your world appear here." I say as she looks around before crossing her arms as she raised an eyebrow.
"My world? Are you telling me your from outside my world?" She asks to which I nod.
"This is a Multiversal Shop that can appear anywhere in the entire Multiverse, and since this is a Multiversal shop you can buy anything but you need to sell me something that's rare or special in your world for me to give me currency, your very life span can also be used for buying currency here." I went onto explain to her.
I then snap my fingers before a panel appeared before her as an endless list of things she could buy were there from advanced technology, forbidden magics and anything you could ever want is right there for purchase.
Seeing this she first went to the scientific technology as she was a scientist herself and what she saw and looked at made have the same kind of face a kid in a candy store would make seeing everything they could ever want, ironic with her being candy herself.
But just like seeing a luxury car, it's nice to look at but she had nothing to buy nor she didn't know what she could sell on hand.
"Oh Wait a minute! Are you willing to buy these?" She asked before reaching writhin her lab coat and bringing out some coins.
But these weren't coins I had ever seen before as they were hexagonal in shape with a question mark on it.
[Universal Token: This coin can become any amount of currency, from a single penny to a mountain of gold]
[Price: 100 Credits]
"Well I'll be, a Universal Token huh? Yep these are rare alright, I'm surprised that you even have ten of these as they should be quite rare." I say looking them over.
"Well I have collected them here and there over the years and really they have been gathering dust, I actually forgot about the experiment I ran to try and figure what makes them so special, but I don't need them anymore and would rather use them here if I can buy even some of the things for sale here!" She says excitedly as their is so much knowledge and scientific inventions she could enjoy exploring that she couldn't back home.
"You got it, just take your time at what you want to buy, but might I suggest to you in purchasing a cloning machine? I mean you have the exhausting job of running an entire kingdom, wouldn't it be nice if you had another you there to help with doing all the work?" I suggest to her after converting her ten universal tokens into 1000 Credits.
Hearing that she stopped and gently touched the crown on her head, "You may have a point, running the candy kingdom and taking my people has…. Begun to take on me…." She says remembering that not that long ago she had been reverted to the time she was 13 and was recently returned to 18 with her needing to deal with all the matters of the Candy Kingdom, finally the stress of being a ruler was slowly starting to get to her.
So hearing my suggestion she looked at cloning machines and they were within her budget as she bought one along with many scientific instruments and journals to broaden her scientific knowledge even further.
By the time she was all done she used up ever credit she had to buy everything she wanted and then some making me a personal profit of 500 credits, though I have plenty myself if I buy anything moderately rare the amount of credits I have will disappear easily.
With her purchase done and her spending 1000 credits I handed her a silver sphere necklace and explained how it worked.
Soon enough she nodded before putting it in her lab coat pocket and waving me goodbye as she went back through the door and too her world.
"Hope she makes the best of the things she got from here, now then I wonder if anyone else is going to show up today, but let's go back for now." I say before leaving the shop again to see how Buku was doing with getting a new body for herself.
