Kaito and the others were still fighting the guards when he felt a strange feeling in hi stomach, like something was wrong
"Kenji, do you think you can handle them while i go find Akari?" Kaito asked as he glanced at kenji and amaya who were still fighting
"Sure" kenji replied launching a water wave at the guards "thanks" kaito replied as he left to find akari
Meanwhile akari had blocked out and was now falling off the cliff when she heard a voice in her head "akari wake up" a woman's voice said to her
"Im a failure, im not a hybrid, im just weak that i couldn't save anyone precious in my life" akari thought to herself
"Save them akari" the voice said before akari opened her eyes revealing a strange mark around her eye as she suddenly arrived at the top of the cliff as she saw the two walking away
Meanwhile daki and ren were heading back when they felt an overwhelming presence behind them, as they turned they saw akari standing at the top of the cliff staring straight at them
"Ren wasn't that girl falling a while ago? Why is she back?" Daki asked as she stood frozen and wide-eyed
Within a blink of an eye akari was right in front of them "how did you get here so fast" daki said frightening
But akari stayed silent "air blast" she said as she blasted strong air that threw both of them up into the tree
Meanwhile kaito was frozen in shock as he witnessed the scene unfold and suddenly Akari disappeared into thin air
"Where did she go?" Kaito asked himself as he went back to kenji and amaya to tell them about what happened but as he arrived, he saw akari fighting all the guards by herself while kenji and amaya stood there amazed
They all stood there shocked as akari began to appear and disappear into thin air as of she was teleporting
"What is this?" Kaito asked kenji as he rushed to them "I'll tell you later but first we need to calm her down
But before they could do anything, Akari had already defeated all the guards when daki and ren appeared, ready to fight again
"Even though your fast, doesn't mean you can defeat us" daki said as she launched an attack at akari
But akari just disappeared "where did she go now" daki said when akari suddenly appeared beside her "water slash" akari said as she launched an attack that sent daki to stumble and lose her balance
"I'll get back at you for this" daki muttered as she left with ren. Just as they left akari collapsed and blacked out
"Akari!" Kaito screamed as he caught akari before she hit the ground and carried her back to their room for her to rest "kenji what's wrong with her?" Kaito asked as he set Akari down on her bed
"She just had the lunar awakening " kenji replied as he went inside with amaya "what's that?" Kaito asked as he grabbed Akari's hand
"Its an awakening that only happens in the kage bloodline " kenji said as he glanced over at akari who was still unconscious
"Is she okay?" Kaito asked worriedly "she'll be fine" kenji replied "but why did she just faint like that?" Kaito asked
"Don't worry kaito, akari is fine just let her rest" kenji said as he tapped kaito's shoulder reassuringly and ruffled his hair
"But you do seem to care a lot about my niece" kenji said teasingly "i was just being a good friend" kaito said as his cheeks turned pink
"Yeah sure" kenji replied as he headed for the door "wait where are you going?" Kaito asked
"I'm gonna go check up on the villagers to see if their fine" kenji replied as he paused at the door
"But what about if she wakes up?" Kaito asked "just find me" kenji replied before leaving
"So what now?" Amaya asked as she sat down on her bed "we'll wait for her to wake up" kaito replied as he looked at akari,worried about her condition
"You sure you don't like her or something?" Amaya asked trying to lighten up the mood "what! No, i was just being a good friend" kaito said as he felt his cheeks warm up again
"Yeah right" amaya said as she kept teasing kaito about Akari while they waited for her to wake up.
After a while, Akari slowly began to wake up "huh? Kaito what happened?" Akari asked as she finally opened her eyes
"Akari your finally awake" kaito said as he hugged her "I'll go get kenji" amaya said, clearly not wanting to interrupt their moment
"So what happened?" Akari asked "well you had some sort of super power that made you appear and disappear into thin air" kaito replied
"Wait really!" Akari said shocked "well your finally awake" Kenji's voice cut through as he entered the room
"So what happened uncle kenji" akari asked as she tried to sit up "take it easy there Akari you just woke up" kaito said as he helped akari sit up
"Anyways Akari, you just awakened your lunar mode" kenji said as he sat down "lunar mode? What's that?" Akari asked finally able to sit up with kaito's help
"Its a special and unique power given to the members of the kage bloodline" kenji replied "so how did i awaken it?" Akari asked
"The lunar mode can only be awakened in a near death experience" kenji said "wait so akari nearly died!?" Kaito said shocked
"Well yes, i did almost die fighting ren and daki" akari said trying to calm kaito down "not gonna lie those two are strong, im surprised you could handle that deadly duo" kenji said
"So what he while you were fighting them?" Amaya asked curiously "well they manage to back me off to a cliff then launched an attack that destroyed the ground that i was standing on" akari replied
"So you fell off a cliff?" Kaito asked "yeah but then suddenly, i found myself back at the top again" akari said
"Hmmm thats an interesting lunar power Akari, but we should continue this talk tomorrow after you've had your rest" kenji said as he left
