Akari was sitting in the river, throwing rocks when kaito approached "hey Akari what happened back there?" Kaito asked as he sat beside her
"I nearly launched a fatal attack at them" akari said as she threw another rock, frustrated with herself
"Don't be so hard on yourself" kaito said reassuringly at akari while he glanced at the river that akari threw a rock into
"I could've injured them" akari said looking away, ashamed "but you didn't" kaito said try to reassure her
"But still. What if i lose control next time" akari said, throwing a rock harshly at the river, making a big splash
"Then I'll be here to help" kaito said as he looked at her with reassurance in his eyes "really?" Akari asked hopefully
"Yes really" kaito said as he patted her shoulder reassuringly "all this stuff about being the hybrid is overwhelming to me" akari said, groaning
"It must be complicated then" kaito sighed heavily "i know" akari said, groaning again "but I'll be here" kaito said as he glanced at her
"Thanks kaito, your the best" akari replied as she looked at him, relieved and smiling "your welcome and don't worry" kaito replied as he looked away to hide his blush
Suddenly an eagle landed in front of them "woah is that an eagle?" Kaito asked as he got up to look at it
He suddenly noticed a golden collar at the Eagle's neck with a name "kenji kage" akari read the collar
"Wait kenji is his owner?" Kaito asked as he read the collar as well "oh i see you've found my spy bird" kenji said as he appeared behind them
"Oh kenji, your here" akari said, startled by her uncle's sudden appearance "what do you mean spy bird?" Kaito asked while looking at him suspiciously
"I sent a spy bird to the base of solana to spy on their plans on hunting us down" kenji said as he took a note from the Eagle's collar
"What does it say?" akari asked curiously as she took a peek over Kenji's shoulder and read the note
"It says that their planning on hunting us on every village in Solana" kenji said as he read the contents of the letter
"What village are we in again?" Kaito asked as he looked around the village "the village of dragonspire" kenji replied
"Oh that makes sense of the dragon dance" akari said as she remembered the dragon dance
"So what should we do now?" Kaito asked worriedly "looks like we'll have to return to Lunaris for now" kenji said
"We'll be going back tomorrow and Akari, your training your lunar mode this afternoon" kenji said as he remembered Akari's teleportation power from the lunar awakening
"Ok kenji" akari said while kenji left to get ready for tomorrow's journey. After Kenji left, akari transformed to lunar mode
She began teleporting from place to place, trying to control her power and chakra while kaito observed
After a while of training, akari managed to master and control a bit of her teleportation power
"I think you should take a break " kaito said after a while "ok but i still can't master it right" akari said as she slumped beside him
"Take it easy and don't push yourself to hard, you just awakened it" kaito said as he pat her back comfortingly
"I have to master it if i want to put an end to this war" akari said as she clenched her fist, angrily
"Just calm down for now" kaito said as he comforted her by patting her back "thanks kaito" akari replied
"Let's go and pack for the journey" kaito said as he began walking back to the village, expecting her to follow
"Ok let's go" akari said as both of them began walking back to the village to pack for tomorrow's journey back to Lunaris
As they were walking,they passed by the group of girls that tried to attack akari, now glaring and whispering about her
Kaito noticed the dirty looks from the girls and decided to distract akari from them "so what does Lunaris look like?" Kaito asked since he hasn't been there due to the war between the two nations
"At morning, it looks the same as Solana but at night there's flowers that glows under the moonlight" akari said, smiling at the memory
"It sounds wonderful " kaito said, excited about seeing the flowers "it is" akari said beaming
"Im excited to see it then" kaito said walking with a small but genuine smile "well let's go and pack" akari said as she walked beside him
Meanwhile the girls were seething with jealousy from seeing akari get close with ryu and now another handsome boy?
"What's with her? She's just a freak with mismatched eyes" the girl said angrily "yeah but her eyes, their unusual and unique" another girl said as they noticed her unique eyes
"Now that you think about it, your right. She's the only one with those mismatched eyes" another girl commented as she observed akari
"Do you think there's something about her?" The girl asked "yeah she's hiding something" another girl replied, looking at her suspiciously
"We should find out" another girl suggested with malice in her eyes "yeah we should keep an eye on her" they all said as they continued their plan
Meanwhile kaito and akari arrived at their camp where kenji and amaya were packing while waiting for them to arrive
"Ah your finally here" amaya said as she finished packing and ran over to greet them "yeah,akari had to practice her lunar mode with me for a while" kaito replied
"Ah yes, so how was it" kenji asked as he finished packing too and walked over to them "she's getting a bit better now" kaito replied
"Not better enough" akari muttered "don't push yourself too hard akari" kenji warned as the four of them went to their camp to continue packing for tomorrow's journey back to Lunaris
