The next morning Akari woke up to people cheering "what's going on?" Akari asked as she sat up
"The villagers are cheering for us since we saved them" amaya said as she pointed to the window outside
"Wait really?!" Akari asked as she looked out the window "there she is! The village here!" The villagers cheered as soon as they saw akari
"Are they calling me the village hero?" Akari asked as she stared at the crowd of villagers "yeah, they saw you take down a lot of gurads when you had the lunar awakening" kenji said as he stared at the crowd
"Speaking of which, we need to talk about your lunar awakening" kenji said as he led akari down to the first floor
As they got down, the villagers immediately began thanking akari for saving them "your welcome but you should thank my friends too" akari said as she pointed to her friends
"Ok about your lunar awakening" kenji began as he sat down "i think its probably teleportation since you are able to appear and disappear in a flash" kenji said
"Teleportation?" Akari asked shocked as she sat down "yes it could be teleportation" kenji replied
"So what happens now?" Akari asked "first you need to learn more about your lunar mode" kenji replied
"Hey akari" kaito said cheerfully as he came in "oh hey kaito" akari said as she waved at him
"What are you guys doing here?" Kaito asked as he grabbed as seat and sat down beside akari
"We were just talking about her lunar mode" kenji replied "oh ok" kaito said as he listened to their conversation
"Anyways, akari your gonna go to the field this afternoon so that we can examine your lunar mode" kenji said as he stood up
"Wait where are you going?" Akari asked as she saw kenji walking away "i just need to research more about the lunar awakening" kenji replied before he disappeared
"How are you feeling Akari?" Kaito asked , worried "i think im fine now kaito" akari replied
"So what was that strange mark you had when you awakened your lunar mode?" Kaito asked as he remembered seeing a strange mark on Akari's eye yesterday
"What mark?" Akari asked as she looked at herself in the mirror beside them "its not here now but i saw it yesterday" kaito said
"Hey Akari,Jade's here!" Amaya said as she burst in breathlessness and panting "wait really?!" Akari said as she bounced excitedly
"Yup she's right outside" amaya said as she flopped onto a seat beside them "I'll be riding with jade, and don't worry I'll be back" akari said as she sprinted outside
"Who's jade?" Kaito asked as he stared at where Akari left "that's Akari's horse" amaya said
"Oh ok. But have you noticed that akari has been a bit energetic" kaito asked as he stared at amaya
"Oh thats just how akari is, sometimes she's energetic and extroverted and sometimes she's calm and introverted" amaya said as she glanced at her friend from the window
"Wait really?" Kaito asked surprised "yup, she's always unpredictable" amaya said as she got up
"Anyways kaito you seem to be protective of her" Amaya said teasingly "im just being a good friend" kaito said but he was betrayed by his ears turning pink
"Yeah right" amaya said as she enjoyed teasing kaito with Akari "she's just my friend" kaito said despite his flushed face.
Meanwhile akari and jade rode off "didn't know you were coming here" akari said as jade neighed in response
Soon they arrive at an apple tree "lets stay here for a while" akari said as she got off of jade and began climbing the tree
"Want some jade?" Akari asked as she threw an apple to jade in which the horse caught with great ease
"Everything is so confusing jade" akari began as she sat on a branch while jade was sitting on the ground
"Kaito and kenji says im the hybrid since i can manipulate both water and fire and now i just awakened my lunar mode" akari sighed as she took a bite from her apple
Jade neighed in response, sensing her master's distress "i don't know what to do jade, this is all too much" akari said
Meanwhile kaito began to get worried since akari hasn't returned yet "maybe i should go look for her" kaito thought as he glanced at the time
Soon he decided to look for her "akari where are you?" Kaito shouted hoping to get a response "huh? Who's that?" Kaito asked himself as he saw a figure in the apple tree
"It must be Akari" kaito said as he began walking towards her direction "what should i do jade" akari said as she began eating a few Apples
"Oh hey Akari" kaito said as he approached the tree "oh kaito what are you doing here?" Akari asked surprised that she fell off the branch that she was sitting on
"Oh don't worry i got you" kaito said as he caught akari "sorry didn't mean to surprise you" kaito said still holding her in his arms
"Its ok, i shouldn't have run off in the first place" akari said as her face began to heat up
For a while the two were lost in their own world when jade suddenly neighed "oh right sorry" kaito said as he set akari down gently
"Its fine" akari said as the two made eye contact and immediately looked away, seeing their flushed face
"Uh i should get going now, wanna come?" Kaito asked as he began to head back "you go first, I'll be with you in a minute" Akari replied
"Ok see you there" kaito said before leaving "stop looking at me like that jade" akari said as she met Jade's teasing gaze
"Shut up jade" akari said as jade began pushing her playfully and teasingly "let's head back" akari said as she climbed onto jade and began riding back
Soon the two arrived back at the inn "see you tomorrow jade" akari said as she got off and watched jade gallop away before heading inside to sleep
