My meager conscience and guilt made me shake my head right away.
“That’s too… Your Grace’s reputation would plummet if you did that.”
“That is of no concern. It’s something I’ve already considered thoroughly on my way here and it would all be resolved after my investigation of the temple is finished and we reveal whatever crime they were committing. So let’s just do it.”
“Even so, I would feel bad that Your Grace would have to go that far….”
“Aisha.”
Hades closed his eyes firmly as he called me.
“Whether it’s now, or in the future,”

“You need not feel sorry for me or feel indebted. This is a decision I made myself for your sake.”
