Aria's POV
We left his apartment and drove back to Moonvale in silence. My head was spinning with everything I'd learned.
When we got back, Mateo and Lucian both tried to talk to me but I told them I needed to be alone. I went to my cabin and locked the door and just sat there staring at the folder Damon had given me.
My parents had died trying to expose the Council's corruption. They'd been brave and noble and they'd paid for it with their lives.
Now I had the same choice to make. Fight back and risk everything, or stay quiet and hope the Council left me alone.
But deep down I already knew what I was going to do.
I was going to finish what my parents started. I just had to figure out how.
I didn't sleep that night. I just sat at my desk going through the folder Damon had given me over and over again.
