"Your Highness."
Sif finally spoke, her voice hesitant.
"Shouldn't we return to Asgard? Loki, he..."
"Return?"
Leon finally opened his eyes, his golden pupils exceptionally bright in the sunlight.
He sat up from the lounge chair, a movement that made everyone's heart skip a beat.
"Of course, we're returning," Leon's tone was calm but firm.
"And now, immediately."
Everyone was stunned, and Thor looked up in astonishment.
"Now?"
Leon ignored his surprise, stood up, unhurriedly wiped his hands with a napkin, and then slowly walked in front of Thor.
His gaze swept over Thor and The Warriors Three behind him, and Sif.
Finally, his gaze landed on Mjolnir in Thor's hand.
"You have proven your worth, Thor," Leon's voice returned to its gentle tone.
"You've learned what responsibility is, and what protection is. So, as a qualified General, it's time to fulfill your duty."
"Duty?" Thor was somewhat puzzled.
"Loki," Leon's tone was flat.
"That good-for-nothing brother of mine staged a ridiculous coup at home. He thought that with Father asleep and me away, he could do as he pleased."
Leon smiled slightly, looking around.
"The throne of Asgard is not for him to defile. Thor, I order you to take your friends and immediately return to Asgard, and drag that disobedient brother off the throne for me."
"Make him kneel before Valhalla and reflect properly, let him know the meaning of seniority."
These words stunned the Asgardians present.
Thor's heart was shocked.
Leon, he actually told him to go back and deal with Loki?
Shouldn't he personally intervene and end this farce with overwhelming power?
"But, brother..." Thor instinctively began.
"The Bifrost Bridge is under Loki's control, we..."
"Who said we needed the Bifrost Bridge?" Leon interrupted him with a mysterious smile.
He turned around, no longer looking at Thor, and instead casually raised his right hand towards the empty space in front of him.
"Buzz!"
Space began to twist in front of him.
Golden sunlight began to converge, forming a dazzling point of light in front of his palm.
The point of light rapidly expanded, spun, and finally formed a huge portal.
Through the other end of the portal, the magnificent Heavenly Palace of Asgard and the Bifrost Bridge spanning the sky could be clearly seen.
Everyone, including Coulson, held their breath.
What kind of power was this?!
Opening a portal to another World with bare hands?!
"This is..."
Thor murmured, he could feel Leon's vast divine power emanating from the portal.
"The Way of the Sun, within the Nine Realms, wherever there is light, there is a clear path," Leon's voice sounded calmly.
"Go," He turned his head, glancing at Thor.
"Don't disappoint me. And don't make me come personally again."
Thor felt it; beneath the calm tone was an unquestionable command and warning.
His body stiffened, he looked at Leon, and finally, nodded solemnly.
"I understand, brother!"
He gripped Mjolnir, turned to Sif and The Warriors Three, and said in a deep voice.
"Let's go!"
Soon, they rushed into the portal without hesitation.
Just as they were about to step in, Thor looked back deeply at Jane, his eyes full of apology and reluctance.
Jane gave him an encouraging smile.
Thor no longer hesitated and stepped completely into the portal.
Today, beat up little brother!!
Soon, they all disappeared, and the portal slowly dissipated into the air, as if it had never appeared.
Peace returned to the desert.
Leon looked at where the portal had disappeared, nodding with satisfaction.
Letting Thor deal with Loki himself was the best choice.
This was both an opportunity for him to atone for his mistakes and the beginning of him truly establishing his prestige.
The future Asgard cannot have only one Sun; it also needs the most dazzling Thor.
As for himself.
Leon turned around and walked back to the lounge chair.
He had no interest in returning to Asgard so quickly to deal with those tedious government affairs.
Earth was so interesting, and he hadn't had enough fun yet.
"Alright, the flies are gone," He smiled at Jane and the others, who were still in a petrified state.
"Now, it's our turn."
...Asgard, Heavenly Palace.
Loki suddenly stood up from the throne, the magic Water mirror in front of him shattering with a crack the moment he saw Leon draw his sword.
"No! No!"
His face was pale, and his body trembled uncontrollably.
That wasn't anger, but fear.
All his plans and schemes were like a joke in the face of Leon's single sword strike.
It's over.
Only these two words remained in Loki's mind.
He knew Leon would be back soon.
And what awaited him would be his brother's education.
He staggered backward, knocking over a candelabra behind him, his eyes beginning to turn frantic.
"I can't wait to die!"
He picked up the Casket of Ancient Winters in front of him; yes, he was preparing to stake everything on using its power.
But just then, a golden portal opened in front of his throne.
Loki's body stiffened, he looked at the door in horror, thinking Leon had returned.
However, what emerged from the door was Thor, wielding Mjolnir and surrounded by electricity.
And behind him, his three battle-hardened comrades with murderous looks.
Loki was stunned, he looked at the golden portal slowly closing behind Thor, his mind a mess.
Leon didn't come back?
He let Thor come back alone?
...Earth, New Mexico.
Coulson looked at Leon, feeling his Worldview being crushed once again.
He took a deep breath and bravely stepped forward.
"Uh... Sun god?!"
"Hmm?" Leon didn't even lift an eyelid.
"About..."
"Oh, you want to talk about damages? You actually dare to ask for damages? Hmm... never mind, looking at your poor appearance, take it." Leon thought for a moment, then snapped his fingers.
A small, heavy bag of gold coins appeared out of thin air on the sand in front of Coulson.
"Is that enough?"
Coulson looked at the gold coins, which clearly looked valuable, and his mouth twitched.
"Enough..."
"That's good," Leon waved his hand.
"Now take your people and get out of my sight. I need quiet."
Coulson felt as if he had been granted a great pardon and immediately ordered his subordinates to evacuate the area as quickly as possible.
Soon, only Leon, Jane, and her two colleagues remained, and Leon finally sat up from the lounge chair.
He looked at the desolate desert and the quiet town in the distance, suddenly feeling a bit bored.
Thor's storyline had come to an end; next, there seemed to be no good show to watch.
"Dr. Foster," he suddenly said.
Jane flinched and quickly replied, "Here!"
"Your research needs more advanced equipment and more ample funding, right?"
Jane was startled for a moment, then nodded with a bitter smile.
"Then come with me," Leon stood up and stretched.
"This small place is too boring; I'll take you to a more interesting place."
He raised his hand, and another golden portal opened in front of him.
On the other side of the door, tall buildings stood in dense rows, and traffic flowed like Water, it was the most prosperous city in the World.
That's right, it was the much-troubled New York.
"There's someone there who should be very interested in your research," Leon smiled slightly.
He remembered that at this point in time, Tony Stark should have just announced himself as Iron Man not long ago, and was being harassed by S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Military.
Perhaps, he should go find some fun for him.
