Chapter 23 - Chapter 23 Absolutely confident Tony!

New York, Stark Tower, top-floor laboratory.

Time seemed to stretch, and the atmosphere became somewhat subtle.

Tony's smile vanished, replaced by a deep frown.

He glanced at Leon, trying to understand what was happening.

Jarvis was not a simple string of code, not a cold program.

Jarvis was his creation, his proudest work, his most trusted partner.

It possessed independent logical thinking, unparalleled processing speed, and an unbreakable firewall.

Its loyalty... Tony had once believed its loyalty belonged only to him.

But now, his proud AI butler was showing obedience to another man... no, to another strange person.

"Alright, Mr. Leon."

This sentence kept Tony's brow furrowed.

This was no longer a simple hacker intrusion.

Intrusion meant confrontation, meant offense and defense.

But now, there was no confrontation, only submission.

It was as if a higher-priority command had been written into Jarvis's underlying protocol, one it seemingly couldn't resist.

Tony's gaze returned to Leon, who was already lying on a lounge chair, sunbathing.

Sunlight streamed through the massive floor-to-ceiling windows, casting his golden silhouette onto the polished floor.

Warm, dazzling, and with a faint sense of oppression.

Who exactly was he?

How did he know the secret of palladium poisoning?

How could he control Jarvis?

Countless questions swirled in Tony's mind, but he found no answers.

His inner pride almost burned away his reason.

He wanted to rush forward, activate his suit, and use every possible method to throw that damned lounge chair, along with that guy, from the top floor!

But he couldn't.

Because his reason was warning him.

This man was dangerous!

Damn it, he hated this feeling; he was used to having everything in his hands.

He hated being out of control... No, next time he had to find two more models to comfort his wounded heart.

Dr. Jane Foster and the other two standing opposite him were already accustomed to such sights.

After witnessing Leon open a portal with his bare hands, conjuring a chair seemed no longer a miracle to them.

How to put it? Since they couldn't fight him and couldn't scold him, they might as well enjoy it.

Darcy and Erik exchanged glances and shrugged in tacit agreement.

Jane was different; she was drawn to another question.

She was a scientist; she believed in data, in logic, in verifiable truth.

But everything that had happened recently far exceeded her comprehension.

Especially the seemingly inherent aura about Leon, and his eyes that seemed to see through everything.

Damn it, how could this man be so captivating?!

Thinking this, Jane Foster subconsciously tightened her legs.

She dared not think further; she feared she might lose control and overflow if she wasn't careful.

The lab suddenly grew quiet, with only Tony experiencing a brainstorm.

In the end, it was Tony Stark who broke the silence.

He took a deep breath, forcibly suppressing his emotions.

He knew that impotent rage wasn't his style; he had to regain the initiative in his strongest field, even if just a little.

He was Tony Stark; he had his pride, and he had absolute confidence in himself!

So, he chose an opening.

He turned away, no longer looking at Leon, but instead directed his gaze at the flustered Dr. Jane Foster.

"Dr. Foster, is it?"

Tony's tone was casual, but full of confidence and control.

Jane flinched, instinctively nodding.

"That guy said your research could help me solve a small problem," Tony said as he slowly walked to his workstation, his fingers rapidly typing on the keyboard.

"I have a slight acquaintance with astrophysics. The Einstein-Rosen bridge, or what you commonly call the wormhole theory, is essentially a distortion of space. This doesn't seem to have anything to do with element creation."

He pulled up several of Jane's publicly published papers; the screen was filled with formulas and star charts.

He didn't directly inquire about his condition but chose to approach it from an academic perspective.

This was both a test and a defense.

He was rebuilding his safe zone in the way he was most adept at.

Jane glanced at the screen, which displayed her painstaking research.

Soon, her nervousness was replaced by enthusiasm.

She adjusted her glasses, took a deep breath, and tried to make her voice sound more professional.

"Mr. Stark, you are correct. In the traditional sense, my research indeed has nothing to do with new elements. However..."

She paused, glanced at the figure lying by the window, seemingly asleep, and bravely continued to explain.

"My research has found that during the formation and collapse of the Einstein-Rosen bridge, an energy radiation we have never seen before is produced. This... far exceeds any form of energy currently known to us."

"I have named it Bifrost Bridge radiation."

Tony raised an eyebrow, his fingers quickly sliding across the screen to bring up relevant analysis charts.

"Continue."

Jane was encouraged; her speaking speed began to quicken, and her eyes showed more confidence.

"According to my computational model, this radiation can instantly break down... and rearrange combinations. Theoretically, as long as we can stably control this radiation, we can create any element we desire, just like building blocks!"

Her voice echoed in the laboratory, confident and passionate.

Darcy listened, utterly bewildered, but she could feel that Jane was glowing all over at this moment.

Sister, are you ascending to heaven?

Tony didn't speak; he stared at the data stream on the screen, his mind already calculating.

Break down... rearrange... create new elements... Jane's theory was like a key, opening a long-sealed door in his mind.

He had always been troubled by the energy source problem; he knew that creating new elements required immense energy, but he didn't know where to obtain it.

And now, Dr. Jane Foster's research had pointed him in the right direction!

"Bifrost Bridge radiation," Tony murmured, feeling as if he had discovered a new World.

Damn it, could it really be done this way?!

He suddenly turned to Jane, his voice abruptly becoming excited.

"Where are your observation data? Give me all the raw data!"

Indeed, now he was no longer the lofty billionaire, but a student humbly seeking knowledge.

As a genius, his keenness had made him discover the feasibility of this project.

Yes, he now had to do something, such as optimizing this female Dr.'s rudimentary research.
