New York.
For Jane Foster, this was a familiar yet strange term.
Familiar, because it represented the pinnacle of technology, finance, and culture on Earth.
Strange, because before this, she had never imagined she would arrive here in such a way.
Although she had seen it before, Leon's portal was not a passage made of various instruments as she had imagined.
To be precise, it was a door made of light.
In her eyes, Leon casually raised his hand, and golden sunlight gathered in his palm.
Then, ripples spread through space, and a stable door of light suddenly opened out of thin air.
This scene shocked the three of them no less than the attack on Pearl Harbor; it was simply unheard of and unseen.
The feeling of passing through the door of light was very peculiar.
There was no weightlessness, no dizziness, and not even any discomfort.
Jane Foster felt as if she had simply taken a leisurely step in the midday Sun.
That's right, one step took her from the desert of New Mexico to the bustling streets of New York.
This feeling left her, a scientist whose lifelong pursuit was to explore the mysteries of the Universe, both shocked and frustrated.
The aerospace technology that humanity prided itself on seemed so ridiculous in front of him.
Her heart was trembling, not from fear, but from excitement.
It was the same kind of excitement as when she used a fairy wand, where she might accidentally climax.
Leon! What kind of existence is he?
And what physical laws govern his power?
Jane's brain had already begun to uncontrollably construct hypothetical models.
Standing beside her, Daisy Lewis, presented a different scene entirely.
At this moment, her mouth was wide open, her eyes were as wide as copper bells, and she was tightly clutching the stun gun that was almost out of power.
Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God!
Daisy's heart was screaming frantically.
What did she see? The towering Stark Tower, luxury cars flowing endlessly on the streets.
(PS: At this point in the MCU, Tony Stark should be in Los Angeles, I've changed it because there's no plot there.)
And the man on the billboard, yes, the billionaire she had only seen on magazine covers.
Tony Stark!
She really came to New York! And she was brought by a guy so powerful he seemed inhuman!
This was even more thrilling than all the cases in her political science textbook combined!
Daisy's gaze involuntarily drifted towards the man standing at the very front.
Leon was still in his lazy manner, seeming unfazed by everything.
He wore a simple suit, yet he was more dazzling than all the suit-clad elites around him.
The Sun seemed to particularly favor him, dancing on his golden hair tips.
Damn it! This guy is too handsome!
How handsome? So handsome that just one look would make you involuntarily clench your legs and then climax.
Daisy felt her heart was about to leap out of her throat.
If Thor was a muscular hottie she wanted to flirt with using a stun gun, then Leon was an existence that made her not even dare to think of flirting, only wanting to kneel and sing 'Conquer'.
No, that's not right, singing 'Conquer' would be too demeaning.
It should be said that he fulfilled all her fantasies of the word 'perfect male', even exceeding the limits of her imagination.
As for Professor Erik, his reaction was somewhere between Jane's fanaticism and Daisy's infatuation.
He was shocked by Leon's miraculous spatial teleportation ability, and at the same time, he felt nervous and excited about meeting Tony Stark.
As a seasoned researcher, he naturally knew Stark Industries' dominant position in the field of technology.
And now, an almost god-like existence was taking them to meet a scientific genius.
The impending collision between these two peak existences of different civilizations made Professor Erik feel as if he was personally experiencing a historical meeting.
Leon paid no attention to the inner turmoil of the three bumpkins behind him.
He came to New York, of course, not to take them sightseeing.
Thor's novice village quest was over; it was time to open a new chapter.
And Tony Stark was undoubtedly a very interesting character in this chapter.
Leon knew the plot of the Marvel Universe like the back of his hand.
He knew the man Tony Stark's arrogance and his inner fears.
He also knew what role this mortal hero would play in the future Infinity War.
Of course, none of this mattered to Leon.
He wasn't here to be a savior, nor was he here to be a nanny.
He was just a Prince who found life in Asgard too boring and wanted to find some fun on Earth.
And Tony Stark was like an NPC with top-tier equipment and a storyline; he was the most worthwhile target for interaction.
How to put it, messing up his life and seeing how he would react, just thinking about it made one feel excited.
This was Leon's style.
He treated everyone gently, but this was not out of respect, but out of self-confidence.
Like the Sun, it equally spreads light and warmth across the Earth, but it never truly cares whether delicate roses or humble moss grow on the ground.
In his eyes, most people and things were just means of amusement.
And what he was going to do now was to go and see the other party, and then gently flick his destiny with his finger.
"Let's go."
Leon said softly.
He didn't look back, walking straight towards Stark Tower ahead.
Jane, Daisy, and Erik quickly followed, afraid of getting lost in New York...
Stark Tower
Stark Tower, top floor.
Tony Stark paced irritably in his laboratory.
He had just finished a video conference with Military representatives.
Damn it, those fat-bellied generals were once again urging him to hand over the Iron Man suit technology.
"Hand over the technology? Why don't they just ask me to hand over my brain too?"
Tony rolled his eyes, complaining to Jarvis.
"Sir, according to data analysis, even if you were to donate your brain, they would not be able to comprehend one ten-thousandth of its structure," Jarvis responded calmly.
"Well said, Jarvis! Next time they call, use that line to reply to them," Tony picked up a glass of whiskey and drained it in one gulp.
Ever since he said "I am Iron Man" at the press conference, his life had been filled with all sorts of troubles.
Government entanglement, media adoration, and enemies lurking in the shadows, eyeing him covetously.
This made him feel an unprecedented amount of pressure.
Just then, Jarvis's voice sounded again.
"Sir, four visitors are taking a private elevator and are heading to the top floor. Their identities are not on the appointment list."
Tony's brow furrowed.
"Who gave them permission? Pepper's authorization?"
"No, Sir. The elevator's security system has been bypassed by an unknown method, and I am unable to stop it," a hint of confusion appeared in Jarvis's voice.
Tony's expression became solemn.
Unable to stop?
Jarvis was the most advanced artificial intelligence in the World, and Stark Tower's security system was the safest.
Who could bypass Jarvis's defenses without a sound?
Was it a hacker attack? Or... Tony subconsciously glanced at the Mark suit briefcase, which was on standby in the corner.
"Ding!"
The elevator doors opened.
Tony turned around, ready for battle at any moment.
Then, he saw four people whose styles completely clashed.
Walking in front was a man in a simple suit.
His aura was very strange; although he had a gentle smile on his face, Tony instinctively felt immense pressure.
That feeling was like standing in front of a volcano that could erupt at any moment, feeling small and powerless.
Tony hated this feeling more than anything.
He was used to controlling everything, used to being the center of attention.
But in front of this man, he felt that everything he prided himself on seemed so insignificant.
Following behind the man were two women and one man.
One looked like a nerdy female scientist, one was boisterous and full of curiosity, a young girl.
And a middle-aged man who looked like a university Professor.
This combination? Are they here for an academic exchange?
"Mr. Tony Stark?"
Jane Foster swallowed nervously, asking tentatively.
Although she didn't quite understand Leon's way of doing things, she knew that this powerful being seemed very interested in her team's meeting with Mr. Stark.
Tony didn't answer her; his gaze was fixed on Leon.
He smelled a kindred spirit on this man.
No, that's not right.
Not a kindred spirit.
A higher predator.
Tony's internal alarm bells rang loudly.
His "experienced" intuition told him that the man in front of him was the most dangerous existence he had ever encountered.
More dangerous than Obadiah, more dangerous than Ivan Vanko, even more dangerous than all those useless Military personnel combined.
"Who are you? How did you get up here?" Tony's tone was wary.
