Chapter 19 - Chapter 19 This sword will be very cool!

His face still held a gentle smile, and his tone was calm.

However, the moment the Heart of Despair met Leon's gaze, it knew… it was over!

It was truly over!!

It didn't see fear in that man's eyes, nor anger, nor even any emotional fluctuation.

What kind of eyes were those?

Calm, indifferent, seemingly unconcerned with anything.

Under Leon's gaze, it felt not like a World-destroying monster, but an unreasonable child.

"Your attack is like a spoiled child's tantrum, too gentle."

Leon's voice rang out again, still in that lazy tone.

He hadn't even changed his posture, still standing quietly there.

However, the golden divine power emanating from him quickly spread out.

This was not an energy impact, nor a mental suppression.

It was more like it perfectly countered the Heart of Despair!

That's right, it was the Sun.

The warm Sun pierced the darkness, enveloping this desert covered in darkness.

The moment the purplish-black mist touched the golden light, it hissed like ice meeting a blazing Sun, rapidly melting and evaporating.

The enormous crystal heart in the distance trembled violently, and the veins on its surface began to pulsate rapidly.

Its Dark Eye showed fear, yes, it was fear.

Damn it, is this Asgard's Sun god?!

Isn't Asgard only home to Odin?!

Where did this guy come from?

It wanted to escape, to retreat back into the pit, to get away from that man who shone like the Sun.

But it was already too late.

Leon slowly raised his right hand and held it before his eyes, obscuring them.

The next second, golden specks of light suddenly appeared, and space slightly warped in his palm. Following his movement, a golden light emerged from left to right.

In his palm, an ancient-looking golden longsword slowly materialized from the golden light.

Soon, the last bit of the sword's blade fully appeared.

In the dazzling golden light, Leon opened his eyes, and brilliant light erupted from them!!

Fiery energy flowed on the sword's blade, as if he were holding a miniature star.

The Sun god Sword, Solvride.

"Watch closely, this sword strike will be very cool!"

Leon casually swung his hand.

There was no sword wind, no roar, only a golden light, like dawn piercing the darkness, instantly streaking across the sky.

Time, it seemed, stood still again.

Then… "Crack."

A sound of shattering rang out.

The pulsating crystal heart was smoothly cut in half from the middle, the cut so smooth it was like a mirror, astonishingly so.

Immediately after, countless golden cracks spread throughout the entire crystal.

"No!!"

A terrified thought echoed in everyone's minds.

The next second.

"Crash!"

The Heart of Despair, under everyone's gaze, shattered into a pile of crystals on the ground.

The Sun once again bathed the earth, dispelling the last trace of gloom.

The World, once again, returned to peace.

The scene fell into a prolonged silence.

Coulson was stunned. He looked at the sparkling purple crystals on the ground and the figure who had returned to his lounge chair to continue enjoying the Sun.

What is this?!

What exactly is this?!

Is he playing Dungeon and Fighter here?!

And a lightsaber?! Can't he do something more explosive?!

Purple crystals? What is this? Dropped equipment!!

Although he had said it a few times, he still wanted to say it.

He, Coulson, a senior Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., had been in the business for many years, had seen Hulk, had seen Thor, and had even dealt with that invincible motormouth, Tony Stark.

He thought he had developed a certain psychological tolerance for these super-powered individuals.

But the man before him completely overturned his understanding.

What kind of monster is he?!

Is the game coming into reality?!

Sif and The Warriors Three were no better.

They looked at the purple crystals and Leon, their eyes filled with nothing but awe.

They knew Leon was strong, but they had never imagined he would be this strong.

That was a treasure that could even absorb Thor's lightning!

Leon, he, just casually cut it down with a single sword strike?

Leon paid no attention to the wonderful expressions on everyone's faces.

He lay down, picked up a new grape, and tossed it into his mouth.

He knew that after this series of blows today, Thor would finally be able to truly grow up.

And Loki, after witnessing his power, was probably dumbfounded.

As for S.H.I.E.L.D.

Leon glanced at the still-dazed Coulson, a slight smile playing on his lips.

They always thought they knew everything, but now they should understand the gap.

However, this was good too.

The days ahead shouldn't be too boring.

He closed his eyes, continuing to enjoy his vacation.

The Sun, it was truly wonderful.

Leon's quietness once again plunged everyone into contemplation.

Lightning, like a docile pet, joyfully leaped around Thor.

He felt the divine power surging anew within him, every muscle carrying explosive strength.

He was back.

Thor, the Thunder God, was back.

But for some reason, this joy of regaining what he had lost could not make him happy.

He recalled the helplessness of kneeling before the Heart of Despair, consumed by fear.

He recalled the tragic grandeur of stepping forward to protect humanity, preparing to die heroically.

He had even prepared to reunite with his ancestors in Valhalla.

However, all this buildup and emotional brewing turned into a comical one-man show under Leon's sword.

Thor's heart was a mix of emotions.

He was grateful for Leon's intervention, because it truly saved everyone.

But he also felt a sense of frustration, a feeling even stronger than being stripped of his divine power by his father.

Because Leon made him clearly realize that the gap between him and his brother was already too vast to describe in words.

It wasn't a difference in power levels, but a difference in the very essence of their beings.

He, Thor, the Thunder God, the future general of Asgard, had fought with all his might, even risking his life, when facing a crisis.

And his elder brother, the future King of Asgard, merely felt that he was disturbing his rest, and then casually ended the so-called crisis with a single sword strike.

What was this?

Thor gripped mjolnir in his hand, the cold touch of the hammer's handle calming him slightly.

He knew he shouldn't have such thoughts.

Leon was his elder brother, the most dazzling Sun of Asgard, and his strength was the glory of the divine realm.

And he only needed to be the bravest warrior and arm by his brother's side, he felt that was enough.

He had never coveted the throne, because he knew Leon was the born King.

And he, he only wanted to be the sharp battle-axe in the King's hand.

"Brother."

Thor slowly descended, walking to Leon's lounge chair, his voice tinged with melancholy.

Leon didn't open his eyes, merely grunted lazily, as if he was almost asleep.

"Thank you."

Thor said solemnly.

"Thank me for what?"

Leon was a little drowsy.

"Thank me for cleaning up your mess? Or thank me for making you see how weak you are?"

Thor's face instantly flushed red, but this time, he didn't fly into a rage as he usually would.

He stood there silently, gripping Mjolnir tightly.

On the other side, Coulson finally recovered from his petrified state.

He swallowed with difficulty. He knew that everything that had happened today had to be reported immediately to Director Fury through the highest-level encrypted channel.

No, perhaps he should suggest that the Director simply abandon the so-called Avengers initiative.

For no other reason than he felt that in front of this man, any alliance seemed like a joke.

He cautiously whispered orders into his communicator, telling his subordinates to cordon off the scene and keep people away.

At the same time, he sent people to comfort the frightened townspeople.

After doing all this, he braced himself and walked towards Leon and the others.

Sif and The Warriors Three also came over, their expressions equally complex.

They looked at Thor and Leon, not knowing what to say for a moment.
