The biology teacher walked into the classroom with a stack of papers tucked under his arm, his usual calm expression carrying a hint of excitement that immediately caught the students' attention.
Zi Han, who had been quietly reading through an article on her laptop moments before, slowly closed it and straightened in her seat. Something told her this wouldn't be a normal lecture.
"You've all been doing well," the teacher began, placing the papers on the desk, "so I've decided it's time for something more… practical."
A faint ripple of interest passed through the class.
"This term, you'll be working on a project. It carries fifteen marks."
That got everyone's full attention.
He turned and began writing on the board, his chalk moving steadily as he listed out the options.
"Your projects will fall under four main categories: Cell Biology & Microbiology, Ecology & Environmental Science, Human Physiology & Anatomy, and Botany."
