Ed strolled deep inside the hall without realizing what had happened. He reached the place where artifacts are kept and opened the vault
Thanks to his understanding skill,he can easily comprehend statuses and skills or things normal people wouldn't understand.
" This sure comes in handy..."
Opening the vault,he understood that no one would be able to enter it without being chosen by a weapon inside. While waiting,a blade coated in cloud floats to his front. To his shock, the blade was part of the resolve collection the world is looking for. After placing his hands on the blade,it gets added to his inventory
"Whoa... What's a resolve collection doing here?"
So I need to skyblade first...
As he turned to go,he felt a presence that carried murderous intent envelope the hall. Seconds later,a system screen popped up
Huh?... a sudden tutorial?
Ed stood at the entrance to the vault,with monsters rushing towards him. After equipping his blade,he rushes towards them and attacks relentlessly. Due to the exercise he did, most of his energy had gone but his resolve was firm which helped him to survive for a while.
As his stamina waned,he used his unique skill he had been saving.
"UNDER!"
When under is activated, everything or person within a 100 meter radius stronger than him is unable to use his or her abilities under any condition for a period of 10 minutes while his power increases. After activating under,sally felt a sudden drop in her skills or mana
"Huh?... what's this?. Where my brother?"
"He said something about going to the armoury to get a weapon "

She smiles and continues what she sorted

After activating under, Ed could feel his strength as he effortlessly cut down the monsters in his path. Since the cool down was over 20 hours,it wasn't a skill he could use carelessly as he wanted. After killing all the monsters,a lone knight stood in front of him, wielding another artifact weapon. It points its sword at Ed and spoke.
"Show me your swordsmanship, one that can kill a god..."
He's the owner of that presence... He's strong —
Before he could completely process his thoughts,a sword approached him at incredible speeds, even faster than the guy at the alley. Despite that, he easily evaded then struck with his sword. The sword he used was a normal blade;a katana forged in eaglestone city but had an impressive durability. When he struck, the knight easily parried then followed after him.
Tensed,Ed moves became sloppy and the blade grazed him, nearly killing him.
"I won't miss the second time..."
Hah... I almost died just now,I gotta be serious
Ed exhales deeply while the knight closed in on him. In a split second,Ed fazed through the attack that the knight used and struck nearly connecting with it's neck. The knight blocked,and leapt back to gain distance.
"Where do you think you're —"
"Who told you I was running"
The knight slashed horizontally, aiming for Ed's neck but missed thanks to Ed's quick witted decision.

After dodging the attack, Ed turns with a flip and slashes down on the knight, adding determination to it.
The knight barely managed to block as the ground gave way beneath him. After successfully parrying the attack,he laughs
"You're strong..."
Finally... It's over
"But..."
The knight draws his second blade as the first one had been destroyed in the attack
"That technique will never kill a god"
"Huh?..."
The knight rushes after him prepared to continue the fight where they left off. Ed could no longer move from the backlash of using determination and under in a fight with no stamina.
As the knight swung, another blade blocked the attack completely while another was pointed to his neck. Ed sat up with a smile on his face
" Not again you guys...I was about to get a power up"

"We're sorry young master...."
Ed signalled them to leave while the knight sheathed his sword back.
"I hope we meet again... I might just teach you the technique I wanted to use"
"Sure... what's your name"

The knight teleports after leaving him in the armoury room. After resting for a while,he steps out of the armoury.
"Big brother... where the hell have you been all day"
Sally approached him with an annoyed look
"Um training..."
"The auction's tonight..."
Oh... the skyblade
Ed rushed to his room and prepared. An hour later,they left the house to the auction venue in the city of swords. The arrived minutes before the auction began and walked to the VIP section where other members of top families assemble
" Oh... If it isn't sally.d.angelo...head of the number one family in the world"
Ed silently entered behind her and walked to his seat in front. Soon after, eyes of the top families turned to his direction
"Who's that?..."
"A servant, sitting on a chair?..."
Sally turned immediately when she heard those words.
"Who said that..."
Sally snapped her fingers and the special forces so commands, the black coats entered the hall. Even the elite knights couldn't say a thing in their presence
The black coats surrounded the VIP section and held everyone at blade point while Ed sat silently. A blonde haired guy dressed in black suit sat silently at a corner. Ed glanced briefly to his side and realized that despite being threatened,he didn't even flinch
"Hold your horses Sally... What's the big idea?" A woman asks
"You insulted my brother and wanted me to stay calm "
"Huh?"
They all turned their attention to Ed,who tried his best to stay in the background. Just then, the auction began
