After some free time, Marcus went back to his room to continue his study.
He liked the fact that in the world of Skyrim and Elder Scrolls, people did not bother other people as long as they did not have any business with the said person.
He worked about seven to ten hours later and understood how the spell worked.
While he studied, he also felt that his experience in terms of "leveling up" was increasing too.
He felt the same when he trained with Falion too.
"I know how to cast Burden."
"But casting it like Falion without using any hand-casting motions is something that needed to be learned."
"I may pay for Falion to teach me that..."
Marcus then went to Elix. It was morning time, so he was having breakfast while sitting on his chair.
Marcus entered and nodded.
"Do you have any trading opportunities about potions?"
Elix thought a little and then said it.
"Depends."
"I have a friend."
"His name is Leno Nax."
"A trader caravan owner, he keeps on going to Morthal, Dawnstar, and then finally Solitude."
"He said to me that due to the Civil War and the skirmishes everywhere, there is a huge need for healing potions."
"It can be simple but the number is pretty big."
Marcus nodded.
"How many ?"
Elix got up from his chair and went to his room and then came back a few minutes later.
"He will arrive next week from Dawnstar and will be set to go to Solitude."
"I suppose he can buy up to ten thousand healing potions."
Marcus gulped.
"It is many."
Elix nodded.
"It is pretty big..."
Elix nodded.
"I suppose I can give you a septim for each healing potion."
"Also, I will not take any charges for you to use my Alchemy Table."
Marcus shook his head.
"Nah."
"I can sell two septims here per day."
"I am just myself."
Elix thought and then said.
"I guess, I can make it up to one septim and five drake per potion."
"He comes every two week here. The potions always sell out and he will buy everything."
"What you say."
Marcus could not help but ask.
"What makes me stop just contacting him and sell it to him directly for two septims?"
Elix took a back and smiled.
"That would be a not-kind thing to do..."
Marcus felt a little bit different.
"Are you by any chance threatening to me ?"
Elix gulped.
"Oh no."
"It is just not a good practice."
Marcus then added.
"Two septims per health potion and no charge."
"You can sell it for two and five drakes and make five drakes from each potion without doing anything."
"You know this is a great deal for you."
Elix took a deep breath and nodded.
"Okay."
"I will pay you two septims per each healing potion."
Marcus nodded, and then Elix prepared the documents and the agreement, and both men signed it.
"Great," said Marcus and added.
"You know."
"I may not show it."
"But I don't like people that try to intimidate."
Marcus, then, made a flicker with his hand; a small wisp of fire manifested as he left the room.
Elix gulped and felt like he dodged an arrow.
After Marcus left, Elix shook his head and took a deep breath.
"I tried to intimidate a mage..."
"I almost got killed..."
Elix knew that mages were eccentric individuals and would act too differently compared to many people that lived in the city.
People may get scared and get back down from confrontations.
But a mage may just kill him, take whatever he has, and leave the city and not look behind.
Also, he is not a trained fighter or have any capabilities in that matter.
Fighting against a mage would not be possible.
Even finding a mercenary group to hunt down the mage is not that great of a deal and would demand thousands of septims.
"I need to be more respectful to him from now on, then."
Elix thought.
-
Marcus went to buy the ingredients.
Health potions are too simple for him to do, so he believed he could make a lot in one week before the man arrived.
With some work, he should be able to prepare three hundred health potions no problem and make six hundred septims.
This was a great deal and a lot of money for him.
He needed much more, as he wanted to get some training and more spells from Falion.
In a sense, he was in a pretty good situation.
There was no conflict in the city, no Daedra or such things following him.
All in all, things were great for him, for the time being.
