Chapter 41 - Flame Atronachs and Wolves - Chapter 41

Marcus rode his horse on the road.

As he rode, he understood that the weather sucks so much in these parts of the region.

More, he passed the roads and continued towards Winterhold.

More he understood how people always had problems with the weather of the general region.

"It is getting colder."

"If I did not have Stoneflesh active, it would be a problem."

Of course, Marcus believed that at this point, he could use flame spell variations to warm himself.

As he rode, he heard a howl.

"Wolves?"

Marcus thought, and then he noticed one or two wolves along the road.

"They are not ordinary wolves."

Marcus thought and then made a casting motion with his hand and pointed to the ground.

As he cast the spell, a Flame Atronach manifested.

After all the training, his Magicka is already at two hundred twenty points, and a Flame Atronach that is cast will last one day and cost him about fifty Magicka points.

Marcus then commanded.

"Take care of them," with his order, the levitating, flame, woman-like creature, completely the same as in Skyrim, went towards the wolves, and then one of them showed itself.

Flame Atronach prepared a firebolt and then shoot at it.

The ice wolf, hit by the flame, started burning and crying in pain.

It started squeaking and moving back.

The Flame Atronach did not stop after shooting one of the firebolts; it kept shooting at the wolf that had already gotten hit by one of them.

One and two and then the third one in just seven seconds.

After four firebolts, the Icewolf landed on the ground, burned to a crisp.

"A firebolt is more of a blast damage than a fire damage."

"It is not a concentration spell, so instead of burning, it just hits the target like a kinetic bullet with a burning effect."

Marcus thought.

At the same time, the second one showed itself and then ran towards the Flame Atronach; its speed was great, so it was able to shorten the distance in no time.

It bites down on the Flame Atronach and takes a chunk from it with ease.

"These wolves are no joke," Marcus thought.

The Flame Atronach swung it in its right hand to the head of the wolf; as its hands hit the creature, it started burning, and then the wolf backed down by three meters.

"An atronach's physical power is also great; due to its elemental nature, it does not feel any pain, and all its attacks are enhanced with fire elemental effects."

"It is also pretty effective against the natural ice element of these ice wolves."

"I would guess Ice Spike would still harm these, but not nearly as great compared to a fire spell."

Marcus focused and then made a fist with his hands and then targeted the ice wolf that was fighting with the Flame Atronach and let fist go as he let it go.

In half a second, an icicle appeared, thirty cm long, and then shot towards the ice wolf; its speed is more than an arrow's.

It hit the creature right in the side and penetrated deeply.

Not enough to kill but enough to stop it for about two seconds.

Flame Atronach conjured two firebolts, which is unexpected as it never conjured and used two firebolts at the same time in the game, and hit the wolf in the face at the same time.

Killing it with ease.

"Due to the short distance, the flame was more powerful; the blast behind the bolts was also harder."

"The creature had no chance."

Marcus took a deep breath and dropped down from his horse and looked at the two wolves.

If he knew anything about skinning, he may get these wolves' skin, but he did not.

He did not need them, and he did not know, so there was no need to waste time for something like this at all.

In the end, all things were great for him in terms of monetary values.

Four days later, he sat down close to a stone and then meditated and took a deep breath.

"Great."

"The continuous theory of magic control and magicka focusing makes me more powerful and gives me more insights on the matter of understanding what is happening within myself while I use magic itself."

Marcus wanted to understand more and more about the fact of how to use magic more effectively in most of the cases.

He believed that it was best to do these things and learn when he had time.

If he learns more and understands it more, he should be spending less magicka for every spell he uses, and he increases his capability to keep fighting against a dangerous enemy.

"I should not be arrogant at this point."
