[IRIS POV]
Tears rolled down my cheeks. I couldn't stop myself from crying out loud any longer.
"It's Caius…" I choked out in pain. "I think… He… He and Yvette…"
Healer Felix's face darkened as he understood what I was getting at. He shot up from his seat without another word, disappearing to the other end of the infirmary. My eyes glazed over, unable to properly look at where he had gone. Just keeping my eyes open seemed to be an impossible feat.
Tears filled my eyes, and my mouth gaped wide open. I resisted the urge to let out a strangled cry.
It was a twisted thing to think about Caius, but I knew it was true the moment the thought had formed in my head. He cared so little for my well-being that he was actively trying to kill me with pain while I was weakened and helpless.
