KAI stood infront of a mirror as he looking at a tattoo of a wooden puppet that was on his forearm.
Girls will think that I am lame when the see this thing on my arm, how will I be a player like Ivar if they see this I better cover it up Kai pondered as he looked at himself in the mirror.
After pondering for a while he dressed up as he put his long black hair in a bun,he wore a white thick coat made out of fur and white pants and shoes.
" Well my outfit is not too shabby i don't want to stand out in the academy."
Knock knock knock
Kai turned away from the mirror as someone was knocking on the door.
"Who is it?"
" It's me."
As Kai heard the voice he looked around to see of he room was neat and clean he rushed to a pile of clothes that were on left Ontop a chair he took the cloths and shoved them beneath his bed. After that he once again looked around to see if he did not miss anything.
" You can come in."
Walking in was a Queen Esarosa this she had no armor on she wore a light with tunic as she entered his room her white hair was let down as it reached down to her waist.
" Kia it seems that you are ready before you go I must remind to be vigilant don't trust anyone even if you consider them your friends, the academy is a ruthless place that forges only the best of the best of lehem practitioner."
Kai looked at his mother and smiled.
" Don't worry mother I will be extremly cautious i promise ,I don't want to worry you like before so this time I will make sure that nothing harms me like before."
" Do you pinky promise."
" Come on mom i am not young anymore what will other people think of me if the hears me say that and i don't think pinky promises will make me look cool."
Kai said as his cheeks were red.
" Haha am I not the coolest person you know."
" Yes you are."
" So if I do pinky promises than that is cool because I am the definition of cool little one."
" Okay of you say so."
Kai said unwillingly as he he locked his pinky finger with Queen Esarosa's pinky finger.
" I pinky promise that I will be cautious and not trust anyone."
" Good now was that so hard, since you have already changed clothes let's go outside to the carriage it will take you to the academy."
" Okay."
Queen Esarosa and Kai exited the palace as the came outside standing in a large courtyard that had a fountain next to the fountain stood a large white carriage that was strapped to two white wolfs that were large as horses and on the carriage was a sigil of white wolf and next to the carriage stood the blond haired royal advisor Ivar.
" Kai my boy it seems you will finally experience the feeling of beign a man, you better taste them all haha haha."
Ivar laughed loudly as he said those as Queen Esarosa was walking behind Kai slowly she came in full view as Ivar so her he coughed loudly as he was chocking on his words and laughter.
"What will he taste and experience.?"
Queen Esarosa said as she looked menacingly at Ivar.
" nothing nothing your majesty."
Ivar Quickly replyed.
Queen Esaros shook her head and began to brush Kai's head.
" You keep well now son."
She said as Queen grabbed her and gave her a big hug.
" I will do that mother i will see you when I have finally catched up to the others."
" Good."
As Queen Esarosa and Kai finally finished saying their goodbyes Ivar and Kai entered the carriage with Ivar and went on their way as the carriage began to head towards the academy.
" Kai you know that their have always been rumors about the Queen smothering you keeping you safe from the dangers of this world and these rumors are not invalid the Queen is too clingy of you but that is expected of a mother but in doing that she has turned a lot of people against you people that may try to get in disputes with you in the academy, my only advice to you is to fight don't hold back anything never hide your strength unless it's not beneficial towards your goal people only respect might in this world ohh before I forget the events of the bloodlake forest have been kept secret to ordinary civilians only the great houses know about your apotheosis so use that to your advantage.
" Mhh I understand it's not unexpected that people hate some might have lost their brothers and sisters in training or doing tasks for the kingdom but understanding their reasoning does not mean I will allow them to trample all over me and don't worry I have always know about the rumors as long as I can remember the guards,servants and people of this kingdom will always whisper about me when I pass them not knowing that my ears are sharp I have heard them call me a coward, a pampered brat and I have seen the disdainfull looks the give me but that does not matter to me the only reason that I let my mother pamper me is because I want her to enjoy the time she has left with me."
Kai softly muttered the last sentence as he looked past Ivar at the corner of the carriage at the dark silhouette of a women sitting down as she stared right into Kai's eyes with a smile on her dark black face.
" I see so you know their opinion about you, oh one more thing don't let your anger get the best of you I know how your rage is."
Ivar said as he had image appear in his head of a ten year old Kai standing above a unmoving body as his face and hands were covered in blood.
"Yes i understand I don't want to lose control like that time."
Kai answered as his mood became sourer
" Well that is good if you understand and remember what I said you should try to taste them all before you pick one the academy will be a opportunity for you to pop your cherry."
Kai blushed at Ivar words as he leaned back into the comfy couch like seat in the carriage as he closed his eyes.
" Wake me up when we get to the academy."
After traveling for a few hours the carriage finally stopped outside a large academy that was white in color with a golden roof the academy building streched far as the eye could see on the secluded land that is was located at it had different building that had the same color outside of the academy were guards patrolling all around and some were standing outside the gate were the Carriage stopped.
" Kai wake up we finally arrived."
Kai woke up from a nice nap as he yawned.
" That was a nice nap so we finally here."
" Yes. Let's go."
Both Ivar and Kai came out of the carriage as the walked towards the gate were two guards in silver armor stood their starstruck as they saw the sigil of house Esarosa on the carriage that was beign carried by wolfs and as they saw Ivar come out of the carriage they rushed towards him as they bowed slightly.
" Good evening Sir Ivar what do we owe the pleasure of you coming to the academy."
The guards simultaneously spoke.
" oh its nothing I just came ti drop this boy off so don't worry i will not be entering today."
The guards raised their eyes as they stole a few glances at Kai and looked at each other in confusion as they did not recognize the boy that was standing next to Ivar. More and more people entered and exited the academy while stealing glances at Ivar.
" Well boy this were you will be training from today onwards you better get stronger fast to make sure that you mother does not worry about you anymore."
" That is what I plan to do."
Kai answered as he bowed slightly towards Ivar. Ivar nodded his head and went back to carriage as he rode off Kai stood there as he watched the carriage dissappear in the distance.
" Sigh goodbyes master."
Kai entered the academy passing the two guards in his way in.
Ohh I almost forgot to ask Ivar where I should go to register for the academy, we'll let me just ask the guards,Kai pondered as he walked back towards the guards.
" Sorry to bother you misters but can one of you please direct me in the direction were I can register."
The guards looked at each other and one of them answered him.
" So you are a first year well just walk straight don't take any turns until you see a group of teenagers standing in line, stans next to them and you will be told what to do next."
The guard said as he pointed in the path that he should travel.
" Thank you for your time."
Kai began to head towards the path the he was showd before he could take a step into the gate the one of the guards called out to him.
"Wait boy is the royal advisor your father or are you a member of the great houses."
" No he is not and I am not a member of any of the great houses."
Kai answered the guard with a smile on his face as he walked in the academy heading towards the place he was directed to.
" Idoit if he saw his son or a member of the great houses he would not be registering you know that the great houses don't take the test."
" Yeah my bad I forgot about that, but it's a shame that the boy will be taking that test and he has no weapon on him."
" Well that is his own fault for not preparing or he may be a hard to hand fighter."
" Haha what idiot would fight against profane creatures with their fists.
" Yeah you are right but it would truly be a shame for such a innocent looking boy to die so soon but this world is unforgiving and cruel to us all."
Unbeknownst to Kai the Ivar did not tell him about the test that he must take in the academy to be admitted into it if your are not from the great houses or lesser houses.
Kai walked in a straight path for a while until he saw a line of teenagers standing orderly in a line as if their were in the military all of then had weapons.
Am I lost or did those guards trick me, Kai pondered
Kai thought as he scratched his head looking at the group of teenagers wearing armor and weapons strapped to their backs and sides some held their weapons I'm their hands.He looked around for awhile looking lost as he examined his surroundings.
"HEY MYSTERIOUS BOY!."
Someone shouted towards Kai.
