Lilith's expression didn't change.
He tilted his head slightly and said, "Are you hard of hearing?"
Before I could process everything that was happening, he dropped the violin onto the bench beside him and stood up.
Then he walked up to me.
When he stopped, his eyes looked even more scary and dark. He shook his head after staring me down and spoke.
"Back in Ayla, we have rich alphas. Powerful men who can twist and play with authority. I'd seen my fair share of them. Even had a few at my feet, willing and ready to fight an army just to bed me. But I kept myself, believing that a worthy man would come and claim me someday.
