The next morning, I woke up to strange voices.
It wasn't anything familiar and for a moment I wondered if they were in the room or I was just dreaming.
Then all of a sudden, someone laughed.
It was such a bubbly, cheerful sound.
I blinked and forced my eyes open.
There were four people standing around my bed.
I sat up so fast, I was hit by a wave of dizziness.
They were all dressed in matching orange robes, with little silver patterns stitched around the edges. They looked very young and pretty too. And way too cheerful for this early in the morning.
The one standing in front smiled so wide it almost looked like her cheek muscles were going to snap.
"Good morning, young master," she said brightly. "Sorry for the intrusion, but we were sent by Alpha Allen. We are your new attendants."
She gestured dramatically to herself first.
"I'm Winnie."
Then she pointed at the others.
"This is Eli, Sofia, and Alora."
The three of them smiled and bowed at the same time.
