The tension enveloping the arena slowly began to subside as the tournament host finally announced the official result of the chaotic battle.
The tenth match was won by Raven. Meanwhile, Allen was absolutely disqualified by the panel of judges because he was deemed to have lost control, gone berserk, and nearly killed a fellow participant.
While the committee was preparing to clear the remaining debris from the arena, the figure of a blue-haired youth was suddenly standing calmly in the middle of the arena.
"I am withdrawing from this tournament!" he exclaimed loudly, breaking the noise.
Everyone in the arena was extremely shocked by the sudden withdrawal statement. The murmurs of the spectators immediately buzzed, questioning his decision.
"Why are you withdrawing so suddenly, Arvin Vedegra?" asked a judge from the special panel of judges' stands with a furrowed brow. "You are one of the top seeds. Your academy will lose a massive combat power."
"I choose to take care of my first spouse!" answered Arvin with a loud voice. "If it's only about winning this tournament, in our camp there are still Alrain, Ordion, and Alvein. The power of the three of them alone is more than enough to represent the Astoria academy."
After stating his decision with full conviction, Arvin bowed his body slightly to formally pay respect to all the judges on duty. Then, he turned his body around and walked casually back towards the special participant stands.
Everyone in the spectator stands could only stare in disbelief. They truly never expected that a figure like Arvin Vedegra was actually willing to throw away his chance in this prestigious tournament simply to take care of one of his spouses who had fallen unconscious.
Upon arriving at the special participant stands area, Arvin was immediately assisted by Alrain. The green-haired youth very carefully lifted Allen's limp body, then placed him safely on his husband's back.
Once his position carrying Allen felt comfortable, Arvin began stepping away to leave the row of stands seats.
"I leave the rest of this tournament entirely to you." Arvin ordered his three spouses who were still participating, his eyes glancing over his shoulder. "Make sure the three of you control your emotions and hold back your power so that there are no more incidents of people dying in the arena."
"Yes, My Love / My Dear / Honey!" answered Alrain, Ordion, and Alvein in unison with a tone of absolute loyalty.
Arvin's steps stopped for a moment near the descending stairs.
"And one more thing, if in the next round the match brings the three of you to fight each other, one of you must concede." added Arvin warningly and firmly. "I don't want to see you hurting each other and fighting for real like what just happened!"
Hearing that instruction, Ordion smiled slightly.
"In that case, I think we should just let Alrain advance continuously to the final round." replied Ordion casually, looking at the green-haired youth beside him. "He will never be willing to concede or pretend to lose if it's already related to your command and your good name, My Dear. Hahaha."
"I strongly agree with Ordion!" chimed in Alvein suddenly. The silver-haired youth crossed his arms while laughing crisply. "Besides, if I have to fight against him, I am also not sure I would be able to win. Hahaha."
Seeing the solidarity and the absence of ego trying to bring each other down among them, Arvin nodded proudly. He then resumed his steps while carrying Allen piggyback, descending the stairs out of the special participant stands.
Meanwhile, from the direction of the spectator stands, Alrian, Dylan, and Davin hurried to catch up with their husband. The three of them walked out of the stadium area after previously asking for permission and saying goodbye politely to Dean Saires and the accompanying teachers from the Astoria academy.
As soon as they arrived in the main hallway of the Victoriaz academy, Arion jogged to approach their group.
However, the reddish-yellow-haired youth's steps instantly stopped. His pale light purple eyes widened in shock upon seeing Allen's eyes closed helplessly on Arvin's back.
"W-What happened to him?" he asked in a panic, his face filled with worry. "He is fine, right?"
"Calm down, he is fine and only fainted due to exhaustion." answered Arvin with a very gentle tone, completely opposite to his cold demeanor in the arena. "Then, how about your business? Will you be coming with us right now?"
Arion breathed a sigh of relief then nodded enthusiastically. "I have taken care of everything and officially withdrawn from this academy. But... I am a little confused about how to bring all my belongings from the dormitory."
"No need to worry. All of us will accompany you to your dormitory and help you move all those belongings of yours!"
The youth nodded in agreement with his husband's words.
With Arion walking in front as a guide, the five of them walked down the academy streets towards the Victoriaz student dormitory area.
As soon as they entered the Victoriaz academy dormitory lobby, the presence of Arvin's group immediately seized attention. The Astoria academy uniforms worn by Arvin, Alrian, Dylan, and Davin looked very conspicuous there.
A middle-aged man serving as the dormitory guard immediately stood up from his desk, looking at them with an inquiring gaze.
"What business do students from outside this academy have coming here in a group?" asked the dormitory guard with a suspicious tone.
"I came here to help Arion pack all his belongings!" answered Arvin casually without feeling intimidated in the slightest. "Because when we return later, he will officially come with us heading to the Astoria Kingdom."
"In that case, what is your name?" asked the dormitory guard again, pulling out a guestbook and a pen. "According to the procedure, I must register you as an outside guest in this book."
"Arvin Vedegra."
The hand of the guard holding the quill instantly went stiff. Not only him, but a few Victoriaz students who were relaxing in the lobby and accidentally overheard the conversation immediately held their breath in shock upon hearing that name 'Vedegra'.
Even though his body trembled slightly due to his shock, the dormitory guard tried to remain professional and immediately wrote Arvin's name as a visiting guest, without daring to ask any more questions.
Once the registration process was completed, the dormitory guard invited them to go up the stairs to help pack Arion's belongings.
With synchronized steps, they climbed the stairs towards the room Arion occupied. Along the corridor, many students looked and observed the group with a mixed gaze of awe and fear.
They continued to walk casually, ignoring the stares of the many pairs of eyes directed at them.
Upon arriving inside the not-so-spacious dormitory room, Arvin laid Allen down on the bed for a moment.
Without wasting much time, the blue-haired youth immediately moved quickly. He began sucking in and storing all of Arion's clothes, books, and personal belongings into his dimensional storage space.
It only took about a minute for Arvin to make the room completely empty.
Arion stood transfixed in the corner of the room, his eyes blinking in amazement seeing how practical and huge the capacity of his husband's dimensional storage space was.
Feeling that his task of packing the belongings was done, Arvin took out two small bottles containing a golden liquid that radiated life from inside his dimensional storage space.
They were the two remaining bottles of the Elixir of Immortality.
"Dylan, Arion, come here and drink this now!" said Arvin with a serious tone, handing the two bottles of potion to the black-haired youth and the reddish-yellow-haired youth in front of him. His eyes stared deep into them. "Remember, after the two of you drink this potion, there will be no more turning back for you."
Without the slightest hesitation regarding that warning, Dylan and Arion stepped forward. The two of them immediately took the bottles of the Elixir of Immortality, opened the caps, and drank the golden liquid inside completely without leaving a single drop.
After entirely swallowing the potion that would give them life in immortality, they handed the two empty bottles back into Arvin's hands.
