The words flowed quickly, and in less than two hours, I had typed ten thousand words. The second volume was nearing its end. Then, I took a break from writing Oregairu and grabbed my drawing tablet.

I started storyboarding all the pages for the second chapter of Dragon Ball at a rapid pace.

Each page took at most five minutes. The process was incredibly fast.

My hands and mind were working at full speed, yet I didn't make a single mistake. After a few hours passed, my mother opened my door and called me. By then, I had already finished the second volume of Oregairu and completed several pages of the second chapter of Dragon Ball.

Of course, the quality of both was very high. Even doing the two tasks "at the same time" didn't affect the quality at all.

If I keep doing this for a few hours every day, I'll be able to get far ahead on my work—and then I can rest for a while. Actually, once I've built up enough content for both works, I think I'll start going after some auditions. I'll ask my agency for help with that.

Rikuya will definitely be able to get me into some auditions.

My face is probably in high demand right now after the success of the Uniqlo campaign.

With a smile on my face, I sat down at the dining table and said, "I'm getting ahead on my work so I can focus on my modeling and acting career for a while. Once I've built up enough content, I'll talk to the agency."

My parents looked surprised.

"How much are you planning to write?" my father asked.

"A lot."

"Just don't overwork yourself." He supported me.

And my mother… "You need to let me know in advance. I'll have to go with you to the agency or to auditions."

"Don't worry, I think I'll only start next month—unless the agency contacts me first. My photos were very successful, so I wouldn't be surprised if another company wants to hire me soon."

"That would be good, right?" my father asked.

"Well, yes. I want to focus on my new novel and my manga over the next few days, but if a new and appealing job comes up, of course I'll take it. Since I'm new, I can't afford to turn down work."

"You're so mature, Kyo~~" my mother said with a laugh.

"That's not being mature—it's just not being stupid. The more my name spreads among companies, the better." I smiled at her and put a shrimp in my mouth.

My mother's cooking always impresses me. She could open a restaurant if she wanted.

POV: Third Person

At Toho's headquarters, a meeting was taking place. It was a production committee meeting for a new series set to be released later in 2035—the current year. It would be a Netflix-exclusive series focused on romance.

The meeting had been long, and they had finally reached an important point: choosing the actors who would play the main characters.

The lead actor and actress had been easily selected, but the role of the actress's son had not yet been decided. He was a 12-year-old boy, the result of her first marriage years ago.

In the story, she had become a mother at a young age.

The first person to make a suggestion was the writer, Hiroshi Kanto—a well-known name in both romance and action series. This was one of his biggest projects, and he had high hopes for its success.

"I suggest author Yuto Aizawa. He recently made an appearance in the series 'Like a Bird' and showed strong acting skills. Additionally, he has a good appearance."

"That's a good suggestion," one of the participants said. He was part of the studio and one of the main investors in the series. "Does anyone else have a suggestion?"

Hearing that, a man raised his hand.

He was young—probably the youngest person in the room. He wore a beanie and had long hair. He was the director of the series and would direct all the episodes. His name was Takumi Hayashida.

A director with only one series in his career—but that series had ranked in the Top 10 in several countries on Netflix, titled "As If It Were the First Time."

"Yes, Mr. Hayashida?"

"I recommend this person." He showed his phone. On it was a photo of Kyo. "He has a good appearance and could fit the role. He's only 12 years old."

Everyone looked at the photo—and, of course, they protested.

"12 years old? With such a mature appearance?"

"Who is this? Has he acted before?"

"That's not a good idea. He has no experience."

Even the writer disagreed. "I've seen this boy's face before, but I'm sure he's not an actor. Although he's very handsome and eye-catching, he doesn't fit the role."

Director Hayashida looked disappointed. Even though he had never met Kyo in person, he had researched him and even contacted his agency. He definitely has talent—and he'll attract a lot of attention to this series.

Hayashida had a strong feeling: he had to bring this boy, Kyo Evans, into his series.

He had to cast him. He needed to convince the investors.

What if I give him a smaller role?

Having already read the script, Hayashida remembered a character who appeared occasionally—the younger brother of the protagonist. He wasn't 12 like Kyo, but 17. However, Kyo had such a mature appearance that he could play the role.

Besides, the actor for that role hadn't been chosen yet.

Confidently, Hayashida said, "We could give him a smaller role. What about Sota Mizuno?"

"Sota Mizuno—the younger brother of the protagonist, Ryota Mizuno. The actor hasn't been selected yet, and his appearance could match the role," said Hiroshi Kanto.

The others in the room agreed—except for one.

"I don't agree. I know him—he's just a model who's only done a single advertising campaign. He's never acted before. Even if it's a minor role, poor acting could ruin the audience's experience."

The others began to reconsider and nod in agreement.

However, Hayashida spoke up:

"We can hold an audition. I can contact his agency right now."
