Third-person POV
Dan used the Healing of Repentance to remove the necrotic magical toxins from Karolo's body as the body was stitching itself up. The body was glowing as Dan chanted these words, "Your life is as valuable as the gems in the mines. I will be under you for these 7 days."
Vanda did her part by using a small portion of her mana to boost up Dan's magic.
As a result, in the Realm of Comfort, Karolo saw that he was glowing bright. "Ah," Tomas responded to this, "I think someone, or something, had managed to heal up your physical body. It's only 50 minutes from your body being healed up by itself. Nice."
As Karolo was disappearing from the paradise realm, Tomas gave a warm smile. "Good luck in your life there."
And so, Karolo woke up in that basement under the abandoned château, gasping for air. Vanda and others were stunned and taken aback to see his life returning thanks to Dan's Healing of Repentance. Dan let out a big external exhale. "I did it…"
A mental chain was around Vanda's and Dan's necks as a sign of the 1-week indebtedness to the Otherworlder.
Karolo looked around and then flinched at Dan and Vanda.
Instead of being terrified of them, Karolo asked, "Did you guys bring my soul back from the Realm of Comfort?"
"Y-Yes, it's me…" Dan stammered.
"The Realm of Comfort…the place of the previous selves of Otherworlders…" Vanda whispered.
Looking at her, Karolo replied, "Yes, my previous self, Tomas Chavez, was in that realm and gave some comfort to me."
Eun-woo, Sofia, and the two Deathcaller siblings now knew that the Realm of Comfort existed.
"Yes, he had heard your cries of remorse…" Karolo responded.
"I-I'm sorry for almost ending your life…" Vanda sobbed at him.
"I'm sorry for shooting you on the back of your head…" Dan rather teared up.
"I'm sorry, too, kid," Eun-woo, despite not being involved in the almost demise of Karolo, replied. "I'm done with the Order of the Deathcallers, too."
"We're now loyal to you for 1 week, Karolo-sama," Dan said to Karolo.
While Cristostòm and Sofia were briefly confused at Dan's words, Karolo was stunned. "What? 1 week?"
Dan then nodded solemnly. "Yes, I had used a rare healing ability known as Healing of Repentance. One who did this technique will be under 1 week of indebtedness to the victim/patient. We're now loyal to you for that long."
Astonished, Karolo felt bad for them and had forgiven them. "It's okay, guys. I had forgiven you."
