And so, their first move was to tackle and fend off a few Deathcaller guards and soldiers of various gears and with various weapons (like heavy machine guns and magical RPGs) throughout the city. Eun-woo, Dan, and Vanda had to cover their mouths with cloth mouth masks (Eun-woo's was a full balaclava one in black and with a horizontal hole for the eyes) to conceal their identities and acts of betraying the Deathcaller Order. They also had to do their attacks quickly before their former comrades and superiors tried to identify them.
Karolo took advantage of his integrated, tactical wrist-mounted data-pad on his left arm to look for hostiles of the Deathcaller Order and used his Tech ability to change the data points to the Deathcaller Order hostiles. Since it originally belonged to a dead OD operative, the OD assumed that it was useless and cut down any communication with it. As he looked at it, he aimed and fired his M4 gun at the Deathcaller Order soldiers, guards, and even a few Deathcallers themselves. He pivoted with his pistol and hurled a few grenades as the Darkhtan city guards and Steein soldiers were in awe to see a "Deathcaller Order operative" fighting his own comrades.
After a full 10 minutes of warfare and combat, Karolo went to a Steein general named Berekhyah Alexopoulos, who was a noble from Steein's capital city of Stea-Kaijō, in a city guild common hall. At first, Berekhyah and his squad of Steen soldiers were defensive, but Karolo pointed at the spot where the sigil of the Order of the Deathcallers used to be and said, "I am not one of them. I was just a civilian Otherworlder who wore this to fight the Order."
They were astonished, and Berekhyah couldn't believe that the young teenager was a fighter.
"I'm Karolo Sala, an Otherworlder," Karolo continued on boldly. "2 Deathcallers and an OD guard had cut ties with the OD and sided with me."
Vanda, Dan, and Eun-woo luckily saw that and ran towards them to kneel on one knee before the general as proof of their service to Karolo, and Karolo revealed that he was their master under the 7-day indebtedness by the Healing of Repentance, much to the surprise of the general and his squad of 5 armed Steein soldiers with guns, muskets, spears, and swords.
By 10 am sharp, Berekhyah and his squad teamed up with Karolo and started fighting up the Deathcaller Order.
Karolo, utilizing the memories of action scenes from anime and action movies from his past life, fended off the Deathcallers and their soldiers, guards, and summoned beasts and zombies.
