Chapter 1 - Goodbye my First Life

Azrael's POV:

Necromancy—I've always loved the necromancer class. In every game I play, I always choose to be a necromancer. Even if the game doesn't offer that specific class, I seek out a character who can summon minions. Why? Because it feels like I'm a boss commanding my minions to fight for me. I've always loved the thrill of summoning troops to charge into battle; it feels like I'm never alone when facing an enemy.

I enjoy commanding my army while playing games on my phone. "Skeletal mages should be positioned at the back of my lineup, with tankletons at the front to shield them. The skeleton warriors will take the second row. Now, let's launch the attack!"

BWAHAHAHA! My enemies are overwhelmed by my summons.

They don't even know who to target first!

Yes, almost there!

YES!!!

I'M FINALLY AT BOSS LEVEL!

I can't believe it... After all the hard grinding I've been through this past few days, I'm finally able to get through the last stage of the game.

OK THEN LET'S START...

When Suddenly….

SNATCH***

"Wait—HEY, MY PHONE! YOU THIEF! Give it back!" I shouted as I chased the thief down the road. "Kuya, block that guy for me!" I yelled ahead at a bystander.

But turns out he had an accomplice!

That weasel theiving bastard!

The thief quickly passed my phone to his partner. As I sped up to catch the accomplice who has my phone now.

I didn't care anymore,There's just no way, I won't let you get away, I played hours nonstop just to get to the last level and you'll just ruin that for me?!)

"HEY!!!" I shouted as I was running across the middle of the street, When I didn't notice...

HOOOOOOONNNNNNNK! (Truck honking)

Crash***

"Ugh..." That was the only sound that escaped my mouth as I was thrown by the collision I had with the truck.

I flew almost ten meters because of the impact.

I just layed there motionless.

The accomplice theif got startled and quickly left the scene without even helping me...

You darn, if I don't survive this I will haunt you forever...

Until I coughed up blood, my insides feels like they are turning upside down, and my body feels unusually hot...

I'm going to die… It's so unfair, why am I so unlucky?

I couldn't move my hands, or any parts of my body. I couldn't even blink. I just stared blankly as my vision spun and blurred.

I admit that at that moment, I was terrified because I knew I was going to die.

I didn't know what was happening anymore. I could only hear muffled talks of people around me.

A woman then came rushing towards me. As she was aiding me, she knelt beside me and immediately pressed both hands against my side, applying firm pressure.

"Stay still," she said, her voice controlled.

She took off her jacket, folded it quickly, and placed it over the wound before pressing down again. One hand briefly steadied my head to keep it from turning.

"Can you hear me?" she asked. "Don't move."

She glanced around. "Someone call an ambulance."

Then her focus returned to me, maintaining steady pressure.

"Stay with me. Don't fall asleep, okay?"

Until finally, everything just went black.
