The sky over Asgard was relatively calm when an enormous black silhouette emerged from the clouds.
Strax was finally returning home.
After spending several days in the Snowy Kingdom, enjoying the company of Mercedes and Vex, the dragon was in an excellent mood. He had managed to rest, spend time with his daughter, and, most importantly, survive Mercedes' demands regarding that damned railway.
Considering his track record, that alone was a victory.
However, as he approached the capital, Strax began noticing a few strange things.
First, an unusual number of soldiers were patrolling the regions near the coastline.
Second, several magical formations were being rebuilt around the harbors.
Third...
A considerable portion of the coastal fortifications appeared to have been struck by something extremely violent.
Strax slowed down.
What the hell happened here?
He flew over the area for a few moments, watching workers remove debris and mages replace destroyed mana crystals.
