Strax let out a long sigh as he watched the women disappear down the palace corridors.
In the distance, he could still hear Monica complaining about something. Judging by the intensity of her shouting, Tiamat was probably trying to convince her to try some particularly strong drink.
He shook his head.
"I definitely need to give that woman a vacation..." Strax murmured, massaging his forehead.
Albedo, who remained beside him, chuckled.
"You've said that about five times already. The problem is that you never do anything about it," Albedo remarked, crossing her arms.
Strax looked at her.
"I'm going to take care of it," Strax replied as he began walking.
"Just like you're going to take care of the railway?" Albedo asked, following him.
Strax stopped for a moment.
Then slowly turned his head.
"Did you all agree to torment me today?" Strax asked, raising an eyebrow.
Albedo smiled.
"We don't need to coordinate. You make it pretty easy," Albedo replied with a shrug.
