After Zodia had already killed Alex and Kazuki by dragging Kazuki's soul out of his body and crushing Alex's heart, the two rivals found themselves in a dark void. Alex and Kazuki lay on the ground, exhaustion and defeat visible in their eyes. Alex spoke first "Hey kazuki, you there?", Kazuki replied "Offcours I am, who else do you think it is?". Alex hesitated for a moment before asking "This might sound stupid, but are we dead?", Kazuki let out a small breath"To be honest, I'm not sure. Maybe, who knows?". Alex gave a faint laugh "Well damn, looks like we couldn't become the strongest. I don't even know how to react to that", Kazuki immediately responded "Don't say that, it pisses me off just by thinking of it!". Suddenly—
A voice echoed through the void.
"Oh come on, dont be like that, you're making me sad."
The darkness began to fade. Light filled the void, and the two found themselves standing.
Before them sat Diablo on a throne. He was smiling at them. Alex and Kazuki were both frozen in shock.
Diablo spoke casually "How's it been? Looks like you've made it this far.", Alex and Kazuki remained stunned, both thinking to themselves "What the hell is going on?". Diablo sighed lightly "Looks like you boys are kinda confused as it is, so let me break it down for you. You two, are going to be the key figure to ending this war." Alex frowned "Hold on a sec, what the heck is going on? First of all, we just died, and we're seeing you. Is this heaven or something?".
Diablo let out a sigh.
"This is a universe I just created, basically it's a 15 dimensional space time I created out of boredom. Only you both have access to it.".
Alex and Kazuki looked at each other, still confused.
Kazuki spoke first, cutting it short "You know what? I dont even want to go further into this. You called us here for a reason, so what's up?", Diablo nodded "Well to cut it short, you both are pretty weak right now. You don't have the power to compete with Zodia despite the crazy power up you both have". Alex's expression hardened "If we both don't have the power to compete with that absolute power house of a mad man, why the hell aren't you helping us?", Diablo responded calmly "Because if I do, then non of you will have the chance to get stronger. I called you both so i could give you two the power you want. Not just for the sake of defeat the enemy infront of you, but because you both are the strongest people on the planet right now.".
Those words left both Alex and Kazuki stunned.
Kazuki asked "What do you mean?", Alex added"Yeah, you better not be pulling some kind of joke, sensei.". Diablo sighed again "Good grief you kids. What I'm saying is that I'm going to give you power that will put you up against zodia.". That only shocked Alex and Kazuki further.
Diablo continued "Right now Zodia has more than enough power to blow up the earth, its only a matter of time before he destroys everything in existence. I'm giving you two the god like powers to compete with him.". He stretched out both hands—A red spark of energy forming on his left palm, and a purple spark forming on his right palm "Alex, on my left arm, I'm giving you the power to destroy and erase things. But be careful on how you use it. And kazuki, I'm giving you the power to create your own worlds, as well as the ability to travel to other words and dimensions. Alex and kazuki, you both are the only people that can handle this power I'm about to give you! Do you accept it?!". Alex and Kazuki looked at each other, determination burning in their eyes.
In unison, they answered,
"Yes we do!". They reached forward grabbing the power being offered to them. A blinding red and purple light erupted out as a result.
Present Time: As Zodia fired his attack at Deo in an attempt to destroy him—and the entire planet—
A red slash cut through the attack, splitting it in two.
At the same time, purple lightning in the form of dragons descended from the sky, striking Zodia repeatedly. After the barrage of lightning ended, Zodia stood there, visibly frustrated "Who is it this time? Just tell me, who are you?". The smoke began to clear. Zodia's eyes widened, standing before him were Alex and Kazuki. Alex stood with glowing white hair, clad in red and black armor, a katana in his hand. Kazuki on the other hand stood beside him, a spiral-shaped spirit mark glowing at the back of his wrist, his hair was transformed into purple flames. Zodia's expression twisted in rage.
Not only were they alive—
But they reminded him of his two brothers. A memory of Zerio and Andragore standing side by side looking up at Zodia had flashed in his head. Seeing the parallels between the [Hell's Duo] and his brothers only made him more and more infuriated. "What the....! What the hell is going on?! How are you both still alive?!". A massive surge of energy exploded from his body as a result.
He screamed in rage as his power rose violently.
The sheer intensity of it caused nearby dimensions to begin crumbling. He questioned them "How is it that you two are alive?!". He pointed at Alex "You! I crushed your heart." Then at Kazuki "And you, I extracted your soul from your body! Why are you alive?!". Kazuki responded casually "I don't know. Plot armour?", Alex followed up "Yeah it's definitely plot armour!"
Zodia's rage intensified.
The energy bursting from his body surged even higher—
His scream grew louder. Alex turned toward Deo "Good job Deo, you were able to hold him off for as long as possible, you were really cool. Kazuki and I will take it from here.".
