Kazuki, on the other hand, commanded his dragons "Let's go!".
They gathered immense power, charging up devastating bolts of lightning and raging purple flames.
Zodia stood before them—
A tremendous amount of energy bursting from his body.
In his hand—
A massive sphere of energy formed.
The God of Chaos and Calamity laughed menacingly "HAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHA!".
Alex glanced at Kazuki.
"You ready?"
Kazuki replied,
"Give me a sec"
He fused the lightning and flames together.
"Special Technique: Nuclear Incineration"
Alex smirked.
"Cool name, you know you're bad at naming things."
Kazuki fired back,
"That's coming from the guy who just called his last attack World ender."
Zodia roared,
"ALRIGHT THEN! SINCE WE'RE ALL PUMP UP, I'LL SHOW YOU TWO WHAT REAL CALAMITY IS!".
He charged forward at insane speed—
Swinging the massive sphere of energy toward them.
Alex and Kazuki rushed forward as well—
Even faster.
All three of them screamed at the top of their lungs—
"AAAAAAH! DIE!"
They clashed.
The impact—
Was catastrophic.
A massive explosion consumed everything in the vacuum of space—
Stars, moons, planets—
All erased in seconds.
Even from Earth—
Deo saw the blinding light despite the earth being nine-hundred light years away from the battle.
The shockwave shattered the forcefield he had created.
The planet trembled violently.
Across the world, people stopped. They were all in shock watching the sky in awe.
Even Kinto, still being treated by Rin, was able to weakly open up his eyes and faintly smile "What a pretty explosion, I wish I could create one like that someday. I'm counting on you, Alex."
Moments later—
Alex and Kazuki came crashing down from space.
They slammed into the battlefield—
A massive cloud of smoke covering the area.
Deo stared "Did they do it?"
He shouted,
"Alex, kazuki! Are guys alive?"
Suddenly—
A portal opened.
Zodia stepped out.
His body was heavily injured and burned—
Yet already regenerating.
He smirked.
"You guys put up the greatest fight ive ever felt. But guess what, I won!"
From within the smoke—
Alex and Kazuki emerged.
Both injured.
Both in their base forms.They rushed forward at Zodia. Alex had created a blade of death on his palm, while Kazuki had prepared his purple flames on his arm to attack.
Zodia froze, his mind slowed "This cant be! How are they alive? No, No! I can't lose! I won't lose! And I'll never lose!"
He charged at them—
Energy forming in his arm.
As the three rushed toward each other—
Time seemed to slow.
Alex and Kazuki combined their powers.
The Blade of Death—
Covered in Purple Flames—
Forming a new attack.
They clashed.
Zodia screamed in rage "GHAA!".
The two attacks clashed and struggled to overtake each other before Alex and Kazuki's combined attack overpowered his own—
Blasting his arm off and tearing a huge hole in his chest. Blood sprayed.
Zodia staggered.
"Did... did I just lose? No! But I can't lose!"
He fell to the ground, laying flat.
His blood pouring out from his destroyed arm and chest. Zodia had been weakened and defeated.
He stared into the sky and was thinking to himself, his tone was weakened and defeated.
"How? How did I lose? I am zodia, I shouldn't have lost.... especially to some mere kids! I trained day and night to become as strong as I am today, just to prove my point. But I ended up losing? No! This is an outrage!"
Alex walked toward him slowly.
"Sorry, but I have way too much to achieve, I cant let you just go around and destroy the world that everyone is trying to protect! I actually understand where you're coming from. While we were fighting, I saw a bit of your past. I felt bad for you, being underestimated and looked down upon, seeing your own people die, it must have been hard. But it doesn't mean I'll forgive you."
Alex pulled out a dagger from his pocket.
"Sorry, but this is where you die!"
Zodia screamed,
"NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!"
A massive surge of energy erupted from his body.
Alex, Kazuki, and Deo froze in shock.
Deo thought,
"What the.... he should be out of energy, how does he still have this much?"
Kazuki analyzed,
"He's forcing the last ounce of energy left out of his body that's supposed to keep him alive! But damn, its just way too much!"
Alex shouted in frustration,
"WHAT IS IT WITH YOU?! CANT YOU SEE YOU'VE LOST?! WHY DO YOU HATE EVERYTHING SO MUCH?! WHY DO VILLIANS LIKE YOU HAVE TO GO OUT LIKE THIS?!"
Zodia roared,
"I'M THE GOD OF CALAMITY! I'M NOT GOING TO GO OUT LIKE A BITCH! I'LL NUKE THIS PLANET! IF I CAN'T WIN, THEN NO ONE CAN!".
Shenragon spoke,
"Alex, I've got a plan!"
Alex's body shifted—
Demon wings sprouted from his back —
His arm transformed into that of a demon's.
He grabbed Zodia—
And flew into the vacuum of space as fast as he could.
As soon as he had gotten far enough, Alex released him—
Leaving the self-destructing god behind.
They stared at each other briefly—
Then Alex dashed away.
Zodia's body began to burn and deteriorate.
"No, I've not won yet! Which is why I'll leave the rest to you. Ukina, I'm counting on you."
A faint smile appeared.
"I hope one day, that everything in this damn existence burns away to an oblivion."
Then—
He exploded.
A massive detonation erupted—
Distorting reality, time, and space itself.
Even Diablo who was in another plane felt its impact.
He murmured,
"Even hard chore villians feel emotions. Zodia, huh? I must have caused huge mental and emotional pain towards you while I was still known as bansha. I'm sorry."
Alex returned to Earth, landing on the battlefield—
Reverting to his normal form.
Fragments of Zodia—
Light-like dust—
Fell across the planet.
People everywhere watched in awe. Soldiers who had just finished their battles with the shadow puppets were also surprised, some far more surprised than others. Some soldiers were dead due to exhaustion, some bled to death. Some were still alive but terribly injured, some soldiers were performing healing rituals and techniques on themselves and others. And some just sat on the rubble of what was left of the city around them, all nonchalantly watching the light like dust fall.
Alex and Kazuki looked at each other—smiling "Well, looks we did it.", Kazuki said.
Then, Ukina descended.
Tears streamed down her face.
She gathered the glowing fragments—
Holding them close.
"You truly were a god of calamity till the very end, my dear Zodia."
Suddenly—
A terrifying presence filled the air like as if gravity had intensified.
Alex, Kazuki, and Deo froze.
They turned.
Ukina stood there—
Her expression twisted—
Murderous intent radiating from her.
"I'll carry out your will lord, Zodia!"
