Alex turned to Deo with a smile on his face and told him "Good job Deo, Kazuki and I will take it from here."
Zodia immediately charged toward Alex and Kazuki at incredible speeds, a massive amount of energy bursting from his body.
He blitzed straight into them—
Creating a devastating explosion upon impact.
As the smoke cleared, Zodia's eyes widened.
Alex had caught his punch with just one arm.
Shock flashed across Zodia's face.
But before he could react, Kazuki cloaked his hand in purple lightning and slapped Zodia across the battlefield.
The impact sent him crashing into a mountain, causing an explosion of purple lightning to go wild for a brief moment.
As Zodia attempted to stand, he looked up only to see ten mountain-sized spheres of purple flames descending toward him.
Zodia immediately flew upward, meeting them head-on.
He swung his Sword of Calamity and started slicing through each one with incredible sword skills that no one could replicate....yet.
Massive explosions erupted across the sky.
But it didn't stop there.
Zodia suddenly noticed a barrage of giant red slashes of energy flying toward him.
He was able to dodge most of them by darting accross the air and weaving through them in zigzag manner, cutting through the slashes as fast as he could.
From a distance, Alex and Kazuki watched.
They were slightly perplexed.
Kazuki spoke,
"He's still dodging our attacks? It looks like he still has the speed advantage."
Alex smirked.
He began charging a massive amount of energy into his katana and throughout his entire body.
As he prepared to move, he said,
"Let's see how he'll dodge this one!"
He dashed forward at a speed far beyond light.
Kazuki sensed the overwhelming energy.
He immediately warned
"Alex, no! Don't do it!"
But Alex was already moving.
A wild smirk stretched across his face as red energy exploded from his blade.
"Blade of death: World ender!", he called out.
Alex unleashed a massive slash of red energy.
Zodia sensed the incoming attack and barely dodged it—
The attack was so strong that it sliced through the moon.
Zodia froze for a moment, stunned.
"He cut the moon in half! Where did he get that power from?"
His gaze sharpened as he looked at Alex.
"He never had this power before, was it some kind of final trump card? No! There's no way! That's the divine power that only gods can wield! Which means..... someone gave it to him."
Alex scratched his head, slightly annoyed.
"Oh come on, I missed. Oh well, I'll just do it again."
Kazuki immediately kicked Alex in the head.
"You idiot, Diablo told us to hold back! If not for your terrible aim you would have destroyed the entire world we are trying to save."
Alex responded casually,
"Hey now just calm down okay? I was just testing out my new power!"
Zodia began laughing.
A deep, unhinged laugh "Ahahaha! Ahahahaha!".
It caught both of their attention. Zodia exclaimed in his laughter "I see now! So somehow some way you both were able to attain god like powers in order to stop me?!", his tone of laughter turned into that of anger "BULLSHIT! THIS IS BULLSHIT! IT TOOK ME A LONG WAY TO GET THIS STRONG AND THEN A BUNCH OF KIDS RANDOMLY WOKE UP FROM DEATH AND GOT THE POWER TO BEAT ME?! OH WOW!".
Kazuki stared at him, both disturbed and amused.
"This man is too far gone."
Alex, with the same expression, added,
"Dont know how I didn't realise it before now."
Suddenly—
A massive surge of energy erupted from Zodia's body.
His red eyes glowed intensely.
A twisted grin spread across his face.
"Alright then! I'll make sure I slaughter you two! Since you want to go out of your way to stop me by taking god powers, I'll show you the true power of a god!"
Magic circles began forming around him.
"Eat this!", he growled.
Countless red energy spheres fired out at rapid speed.
Alex and Kazuki immediately got serious.
They moved at light speed—
Dodging through the barrage that rained down on them.
Alex wasn't just dodging—
He sliced through the beams with his sword with raw skills and power.
Kazuki did the same while firing purple lightning bolts in return.
As he fought, Kazuki analyzed,
"Each of these beams are strong enough to destroy the planet in an Instant, and he is firing them rapidly, this guy Is bad news!"
Kazuki called out,
"Alex!"
Alex met his gaze.
They nodded at each other.
Together, they charged forward, their energy shooting out of their bodies like a storm of red and purple.
As they darted like arrows, closing the distance, Alex created over a thousand Blade of Death constructs around him.
Zodia's smile widened even further "Still", he said coldly.
In that instant, time stopped. Not just the time on the battlefield, but time had stopped flowing for the rest of the world.
Everything turned blue.
The entire planet froze.
Zodia stood calmly within the still world.
"Since I wasn't at full power, my time stop could only last for 30 seconds. But now that I have my full powers back, I can stop time for 30 minutes, and it range Is long enough to spread around the planet"
Then— A sound.
Crack.
Zodia frowned.
The frozen space around him began to fracture.
Suddenly—
Alex and Kazuki broke free.
Time shattered.
They, along with the thousands of Blade of Death constructs, surged forward.
Zodia's eyes widened in shock.
The attacks hit.
Explosions erupted endlessly—
Sending shockwaves across the entire planet.
From below—
Deo stared in disbelief.
"What just happened? Its like time just stopped for a moment. But forget that, Alex and Kazuki are operating on another plain of power. Fuck the planet, with this powers, these guys would delete the entire solar system!"
As the smoke cleared—
Zodia stood there, he was heavily injured with burns and bleeding body parts. But regardless, he was already regenerating.
His expression was that of someone who was completely stunned.
He couldn't comprehend it. "How?", his voice was shaky "It doesn't make sense.". This indeed did not make sense to Zodia at all.
Alex had sliced through time itself.
