The manager typed the word, and I held my breath, expecting him to tell us it wasn't right. Instead, he smiled.
"Thank you, my lady. Again, I apologize, but with your type of account, we can't take chances. You can't imagine how often people try to say they have access."
"I can," Nefra nodded as if she understood what he meant.

"So, would you like your personal account or the family's?" From across the desk, I can't see his computer, and it puts me on edge.
"Both," Nefra tried sounding assured, but she had a hard time holding it together.
