"I appreciate you guys letting me do this," I watched the chicken pop and sizzle in the skillet, flipping it as it turned golden.
"If I'd known you knew how to cook like this, I would've begged you to make us something the other day," Luke threw more of the lettuce he'd cut into the salad bowl, glancing at the chicken that was already on the plate.
Being useful made me so happy.
I didn't need to do anything complicated, but I wanted to show off. It made me laugh watching both Alphas hide their excitement when I gave Luke the list of ingredients I needed.
Luke had a modern kitchen with the best of everything, but he rarely used it, preferring to eat with the pack, and it's a shame.
'If he won't use it, I will.'
"Keep an eye on that for me," I pointed to the skillet, glaring at the two men. "But don't eat any."
"But…" Ivan turned on the puppy's eyes, but that doesn't sway me. "Someone should check if it's done…"
