Chapter 13 - Into the Unknown

After their escape—

Close.Too close.

Feroz and Mrs. Aliya knew—

They couldn't stay in Abbottabad.

Not anymore.

It wasn't safe.

Not for them.

Not for anyone around them.

They had to leave.

Now.

They moved out of the city.

Fast.

Avoiding main roads.

Staying in the shadows.

Quiet.

Careful.

As they traveled—

Feroz felt it.

That feeling.

Again.

Like someone was watching.

Always there.

He couldn't ignore it.

The men who attacked them—

They wouldn't stop.

They wouldn't give up.

And he couldn't risk—

Leading them to others.

"We need a place to hide," Mrs. Aliya said—Her voice tight.

"W e stay low for a while."

A pause.

"Somewhere no one can find us."

Feroz nodded.

Thinking.

Fast.

Then—

A memory.

A place.

Far.

In the mountains.

A village.

Small.Quiet.

He had been there once.

As a child.

A school trip.

He remembered—

Twisting paths.Hidden caves.

Hard to reach.

Harder to find.

"I know a place," Feroz said.

His voice steady—Even if inside—He wasn't.

"It's close."

A pause.

"We can hide there…Until we plan our next step."

Mrs. Aliya looked at him.

Relief—

But also doubt.

It was a risk.

Trusting this.

Trusting him.

But they had no choice.

"Lead the way," she said.

Her eyes—Strong again.

They moved through the night.

No rest.

No pause.

Every sound—Made them alert.

Leaves moving.

Distant noises.

Everything felt wrong.

Feroz felt it all.

Fear.

Cold.

Sharp.

But he kept going.

For her.

For both of them.

Slowly—

The night began to fade.

Light touched the sky.

Morning came.

And then—

They saw it.

The village.

Hidden.

Even more than he remembered.

Small huts—Scattered between trees.

Quiet.

Still.

"This is it," Feroz said.

His voice low.

Almost a whisper.

"We're safe here…For now."

Mrs. Aliya looked around.

Watching everything.

Careful.

Always careful.

"Let's rest," she said.

"We'll need strength."

A pause.

"For what comes next."

They moved deeper in.

Found a place—

Near the edge.

Hidden by trees.

Covered from sight.

Safe enough.

They sat together.

Close.

Sharing what little they had.

Food.Water.

Not much.

But enough.

Their thoughts—Still racing.

Still loud.

Even in silence.

Slowly—

Sleep came.

But before it did—

Feroz thought.

About everything.

What was coming.

The danger.

The fight ahead.

Nothing would be easy.

He knew that.

But giving up—

Was not an option.

Too much was at stake.

That thought—

Stayed with him.

As his eyes closed.

And sleep finally—

Took him.

Ready—

For whatever comes next.
